Purchased my Bronco Sport last month with Malcom’s help and I couldn’t be happier! He went above and beyond, was helpful and helped me drive off the lot with my dream car. I see they describe themselves as a "full service" dealership. I beg to differ. Apparently that is only true if you drive a Ford vehicle that is a 2012 or newer. I was calling around today to have the dealership. I beg to differ. Apparently that is only true if you drive a Ford vehicle that is a 2012 or newer. I was calling around today to have the engine serviced in my 2010 Ford F250. Naturally, one of the first places I called was the Ford dealership, in this case Brandon Ford. I was initially directed to voicemail, so I left a message describing the vehicle and left a number for them to call back. Several hours later I had not received a call back, so I called them again. This time the representative informed me that it was now their policy not to service Ford vehicles over ten years old. Wow. Was not expecting that. I expressed my surprise to the representative and asked if I could see that in writing. After another five minutes on hold she came back and informed that they do not provide that policy in writing. So I am now taking in upon myself to inform the rest of you of their policy, just in case that might make a difference in the brand of vehicle you purchase or where you take it to have it serviced. The sales staff at Brand Ford are a shining example of why car dealers have a bad reputation, they are complete xxxxxxxx. Not only are they charging over MSRP for a "market adjustment," they still tack on why car dealers have a bad reputation, they are complete xxxxxxxx. Not only are they charging over MSRP for a "market adjustment," they still tack on almost two grand in fees, and offer well under value on trades. Their excuse is that the market isn't there for the massive SUV I was trading in...Apparently, it's there for the brand new one since it's the exact same make and model that I currently drive, and it's there for the used ones on their lot. They conveniently place their "market adjustment" stickers away from the window sticker for the car's true value. Thankfully there are countless other Ford dealers in the area that aren't in the business of taking advantage of customers while they can, and I was able to find the car I was looking for elsewhere. I had an order for a vehicle with them and they were shocked that I would cancel an order after they tried to screw me out of $5k for absolutely no reason on a vehicle they had on their lot. When I canceled my pre-order per their own "retail order buyers order" form order policy, they tried to add extra steps in order to make the process involve more of my time asking for useless information they already had. When I pushed back and argued with them about it, all of a sudden they didn't need it anymore and actually did what the form says needed to be done. My favorite part about the "market adjustment" is that they are claiming it's to keep the lights on and pay their employees. Yea, sure it is. If they're going to sit there and take $5k from you for absolutely no return at all, what else are they screwing you over on? Can't wait to get hounded with advertisements when the market has shifted to more supply vs demand. Enjoy screwing over your customers while it lasts. More
I was refused service on my 2007 F150 with 104,000 miles on it because it was "too old" and had "too many miles" on it. When I reminded the service associate that I had bought three vehicles (including the on it because it was "too old" and had "too many miles" on it. When I reminded the service associate that I had bought three vehicles (including the truck in question) from them, I was informed that it was company policy. Because of this, I have just approved $4716.00 worth of work at Christian Brothers Automotive in Apollo Beach. They appreciated my business. I doubt if I will be gracing Brandon Ford with my prescience in the future. More
Market Value mark ups are one of the most unethical business practices. It’s not the way you conduct business. Very disappointed in the lack of integrity from Brooksye Hall who represents Brandon Ford. business practices. It’s not the way you conduct business. I came to Brandon Ford looking to purchase a truck and Mr. Haile was my sales consultant. It was a relatively easy sale because I was preapprove in advanced . So I told the salesman what I was looking for Mr. Haile was my sales consultant. It was a relatively easy sale because I was preapprove in advanced . So I told the salesman what I was looking for and the amount. He told me that he had what I was looking for. He showed me a 2018 Ford F150 STX. I test drove it and I was very impressed with the vehicle. I purchased the truck and now close to one year later the truck has been in the shop twice . The first time was the fuel module sensor and now the second time the fuel pump. I am very concerned with this purchase. More
I am not happy with my purchase. I feel that because of the lateness of the hour I wasn't given much of a choice in selection. Although everyone was nice, that was just face covering. the lateness of the hour I wasn't given much of a choice in selection. Although everyone was nice, that was just face covering. More
