When my car broke down, I called all the Hyundai dealerships around, all of them are booked out for 2 months with recalls, won’t even look at my car for at least a month, and they can’t seem to find dealerships around, all of them are booked out for 2 months with recalls, won’t even look at my car for at least a month, and they can’t seem to find any record of my warranty. Except Brandon. On August 25th, they tell me to tow my car in and they will look at it by Wednesday of the next week. The service manager yelled at me when I was just trying to get an accurate ETA of how long I was going to be without a car, it had been 2 weeks since they received my vehicle and they had not even looked at it. They told me to get a rental and IF my warranty covers the new engine, then the rental would be paid for as well, but I would be responsible if the warranty didn’t cover. So on top of 6-7k for a new engine plus labor. Sept 19th, warranty came through. They covered all of two parts which I opted to pay for. Something about the lug nuts that holds the oil pan? The warranty said the piece on the old engine could be washed and put on the new engine. Idk, $100 deductible plus parts, 440 was my final total. I sent a message Wednesday, the fourth of October, asking about my car, No response. I messaged Thursday and asked if my new engine had even arrived, no response. Got a message Friday at 9 am, my car was done, they just needed to finish the paperwork, but I could pick my car up. Was there at 2pm. Was handed my keys at 230, everything all paid for and receipts signed. They replaced with the exact same engine, supposedly my warranty is still intact. I walk out to my car, there is trash in the front seat, whatever, I get in, I look in the back, there is the undercarriage shield in the trunk.. I walk about inside, and ask is this important? He says “yea, probably,” could take an hour or all weekend til it can be put on… I wait like 45 mins, they put me back in my rental, and say they found an oil leak. Cannot get me an ETA on when it will be fixed. More
