I was fortunate to have "Abel" as my service representative. Having dealt with this individual, I have received nothing but Top Notch assistance. He also seems genuinely concerned that any issue I might have receives upmost attention. I have personally witness this on two separate occasions, being well satisfied as a customer. More importantly, he devotes his full attention anytime I have an unusual question or concern. Some of my friends whom also have a Hyundai have recommended I get my service done at another dealership due to all the construction at your Brandon facility. This will NOT happen as long as Abel continues to be my point of contact for service. On my last service (no audio) from the computer system. Ironically, Abel knew right away what the problem was (amplifier) under the drivers front seat. He had a technician reset this unit and it corrected the problem immediately. More importantly he advised me that if it happens again to call him and he would order a replacement part. This in fact happened a few days latter. As promised, Alex ordered via the parts department a new unit which arrived to my surprise within 72 hours, and two days later with a new appointment, I was back in business. I call that 5 star customer support and I thank the dealership and Abel who made this all happen. Now I can get back to my friends and relate this story and maybe get them to utilize Brandon Hyundai vs. someplace further away. Keep up the great work! More
Servuce was good and quick but there is no proper transport or no car given for time being until service is done. And no car wash and there is no interior cleaning done. I might have rated this business higher were it not for dealing with construction. Outside restrooms with steps plus uncomfortable chairs scattered through the sales showroom isn’t the most comfortable pla dealing with construction. When the car was brought back up front, carpet on drivers side was white from dirt in the construction area. No carpet protection was used so I wind up with carpets that are very dirty. More
Chas was my maintenance supervisor. He seemed nice. He recommended a handful of additional maintenance service to be done while I was there for my oil change. I was a bit surprised by the total amount when I came in for an oil change, but asked if there were any way to lower that price if I did want to take care of it all that day. He said he knew he could take an additional $70 off. I suggested that it meant it was 10% off and he agreed. Which would have brought it down to $645. Before agreeing I asked how long it would take to complete that service since that would be important for the plans I have after. He said 2 hours, and I was the first person in line for 7:30am appointment so I agreed to do it all. During that time I texted a request for windshield wiper estimate which came back at $45 + tax which I also agreed to add on bringing my total to still under $700. Somewhere around 9-9:30 I get a text update saying the service will be complete at 10am which is 30 minutes longer than what I was told, but I replied thank you for the update. No problem, except Chas didn’t let me know my car was done until 10:45. He then was going to check me out, and asks if I remembered what price he gave me. I did, but was insure why he didn’t or wasn’t able to figure that out. He comes up with a number over $800 essentially $100 more than the original quote. Although I did add the wipers on it still was more than he originally said and also had no discount applied. He ended up getting it down to the original $717, but that is still more than I agreed to. He then says he cannot go any lower which even if it were true he had already lost my trust in his previous dishonesty and I didn’t have any more time to waste since it had taken almost 1.5 hours longer than he originally told which I had stressed the importance of. I expressed my unhappiness with him. After awkwardly walking me to my car he then asked if I’d be interested in a free car wash voucher which I told him no thanks as I was trying very hard not to escalate the situation. More
It took two trips of three hours each to have the replacement infotainment system installed. The timeliness and responsiveness of the service advisor were also not good. After the initial visit last week, the service advisor, Juan, said I would receive a phone call within 10 days from the parts department when the part arrived and I needed to schedule an installation appointment. It arrived the next business day. I texted the service advisor the day I received a text message (not a phone call) that the part arrived, but he didn't get back to me after saying he was busy with customers. I tried calling the service department, and it went to a full voicemail. I couldn't leave a message or get someone on the phone. Instead of calling me as I requested, the service advisor proceeded to text me late the following day after I followed up AGAIN to schedule the appointment. My vehicle also was left with the engine on for extended periods of time just wasting gas. I wasn't shown anything about setting up the new infotainment despite a large number of service and salespeople hanging around with nothing to do. More
