I had my recovered vehicle towed to Brandon Hyundai. I walked into the service department, which was crazy busy, and I spoke with Mario Otero. When I would call to get an update on my repair no one called me back. I even was told by the receptionist after 3 calls on 3 separate days he would escalate to a manager and still no call back. Although the dealership is under construction, they are still open and providing good service. Although Joe provided great service once, I got to him, it did not negate the fact that I had to wait in my car for 45 minutes but my 9:55am appointment. When I arrived on time for my appointment, the line was 6 cars deep on either side. There is a large sign that’asks for patience due construction. About 10:10, a young man in a yellow shirt approached and asked to help me. I explained that I had an appointment for an oil change. He wrote up a piece of paper and I asked if he know the approximate wait time. He did not respond. He walked around to the front of the car and placed that paper under the windshield. He came back around and told me to stay in the car until a service advisor came out. I waited 30 minutes. In that 30 minutes, not a single car moved. More were lined up behind me. I turned off my cat and went inside. After about 10 minutes, I caught Joe’s eye, explained what happened. He explained that they were very short handed. He eventually helped me. I had planned to wait for my car but under the circumstances that I observed, I called for a ride home. While waiting, I spoke with another customer ergo said he no longer makes appointments because it doesn’t help. More
