Came in purchased a vehicle. Finance was suppose to send a check to my previous car owner. It has been a month they have not received the check. Now it's reported on my credit. 6/20/2024: Arrived at 7:15am for 7:30am appt. Abel Gomez was supposed to be my advisor but I was told he was late for work. A guy named Jeff (nice guy) checked me in around 7:37am and then witho Abel Gomez was supposed to be my advisor but I was told he was late for work. A guy named Jeff (nice guy) checked me in around 7:37am and then without mentioning it to me, I received an email at 7:39am stating that my appointment time changed from 7:30am to 7:45am. I have a feeling this was done to make THEIR times look better in their system. Not cool, especially when this problem was for a recall. Jeff said the actual fix doesn't take long at all but said it would be a one to two hour wait. Car complete at 8:30am. They tried to tell me I need new front brakes for $511. They also tried to tell me that I needed my cabin filter replaced when I personally changed it ONE MONTH ago. Lastly, when the car was done, they left the front window down as it was starting to rain and they also left all their trash inside my car. The ONLY reason I took my car to Brandon Hyundai is because it's the closest Hyundai Dealership to my house and the service I needed was for a recall. If I needed ACTUAL work done to my car, this is the LAST place I'd go. Brandon Hyundai tried to shaft us years ago when my wife tried to purchase a car from them. Since then, we have purchased two cars for my wife and one for my Mother-in Law, all from Frank at Lakeland Hyundai. We drive three times the distance to Lakeland Hyundai (specifically Frank) because Brandon Hyundai can't be trusted. xxxx shame. By the way, the ONLY reason why I didn't give one star is because the guy that checked me in (Jeff) was nice, the new waiting area was nice, and I didn't have to wait two hours for a recall. Otherwise, this would be a 1-Star rating at best. More
