Delays in finishing 90,000 mile service and related safety work. Took 2 days. Noticed transmission shifting problem and reported to service advisor. Service 2 weeks later resulted in report that transm safety work. Took 2 days. Noticed transmission shifting problem and reported to service advisor. Service 2 weeks later resulted in report that transmission was “junk” . Advised to report to Subaru America for help. It left me with a very negative opinion about my visits. I have owned and trusted Subaru vehicles for over 20 years and haven’t had an outcome like this before More
Customer Service was excellent once again. I really appreciated having the use of the loaner vehicle. The only thing was that the loaner paperwork said it had 3/4 of a tank of gas, but as I really appreciated having the use of the loaner vehicle. The only thing was that the loaner paperwork said it had 3/4 of a tank of gas, but as I was driving away, I noticed it was actually right on 5/8. Before returning the car, I added 2 gallons. I hadn't driven very far at all so 2 gallons should have been more than enough to cover the distance I had gone (unless the car had exceedingly poor gas mileage!). The service desk sent me an e-mail afterwards showing that I had returned the car with only just over 5/8 of a tank. I wish I had remembered to mention that it actually was more than when I had picked up the car. More
