The dealership sold my wife an extended service or maintenance plan- MVP Extended Service. She had the car serviced there recently. The charge was about $1,500 and none of the charges were covered by maintenance plan- MVP Extended Service. She had the car serviced there recently. The charge was about $1,500 and none of the charges were covered by the plan, which she has been paying $55 per month on since she bought the plan. She called the plan and described the charges, and the person she spoke to said most of it should have been covered, but they needed the paperwork. I called the dealership back and somebody told me that they check before they process the bill, and nothing was covered, so that is the way it is. She did say they would submit the paperwork to the plan company and get a formal rejection. So far no update. So, either way it feels like my wife got ripped off. I have a similar plan with Manning Ford for my Escape and haven't paid for anything since I bought it. Just doesn't sound right, does it? I wasn't going to say anything until after the final formal rejection came, but Kunes has been sending emails about doing a survey response about them, so here we are. More
