I'm so sorry you feel bad about our decision, but please know that we do stand behind all of our units that are sold at the dealership. The vehicle was purchased in 2015 and the issue isn't a windshield, it is the worn exterior windshield trim. You went to another dealer and they chose not to work on the gasket because they were afraid they would damage the windshield, not that anything is not working properly. The true issue is that it is out of warranty and you did acknowledge the gasket was worn on the window after the 4 years of ownership. Again if this was 60 days or 6 months, and there was some type of mechanical issue, that would be a different story. I do understand the reason for disappointment, but please know it is always our intention to do what is best for all of our customers and exceed their expectations! Once again Brett Bagley has misstated the problem and in doing so, tries to mislead others about the situation at hand. This is not surprising. The other dealership simply alerted me to the deceptive practices of Brian Harris BMW’s handling of my vehicle. I stand behind my critique and will continue to warn others that they will be better off taking their business elsewhere.
