The mind set that I had when I step in the dealer was solid and unchangeable. I had gotten approved from my lender with an interest rate that was so high most people would turn down, but I didn't have an solid and unchangeable. When I visit the dealer and was in the process of test driving the car I wanted, I mention my situation to Max Ring. I told him I didn't want to run another credit check because I already had gotten approved for a loan. Max mention that if could get three or four points off the interest, wouldn't I be happy? I told him xxxx yes! Well thats exactly what the team at Brilliance Honda did. I left in my new car with the interest rate so much more lower than what I had walk in. My 2007 pilot had a bug guard on it when I brought this SUV. Well the bug guard crack 6months after I had the car. My husband removed it and found I had a rusty hood. We went to Brilliance Honda of Crystal Lake, IL on Sat Jan 11, 2014 and our salesperson was Fred Homer. Dan Schmidt the business manager made signing the papers so easy and explained everything we were signing and again never felt rushed. If you are looking for new or used I highly recommend you stop by and see Fred Homer and I hope you to will have a wonderful experience like me and my family had. He was very responsive to our list of desired attributes for this vehicle. In addition to the information we gained on the test drive, he pointed out all the features of the vehicles we looked at. We also appreciate his communication with us. He was able to arrange for us to test drive the Honda Pilot on our own for a longer period of time which enabled us to take it to our mechanic for a prepurchase inspection. There were a couple items on the car that needed attention. Max immediately asked his manager to take a look at these and they agreed to resolve these items for us. We appreciate their responsiveness. We are satisfied with the price we paid for the Honda Pilot and are very happy with our dealings with Max Ring and Brilliance Honda. More

When I pulled up, it turns out Max Ring was the one to come out and greet us. Normally, I find this annoying, but because it was him, I appreciated the connection. Max was very friendly and straightforward. He is very disarming, which is both relieving, but also makes negotiating a bit tougher. However, I believe we received a fair price on our Pilot. Since then, we have had several friends also indicate Brilliance has been a great dealer. Thank you Max. More
