He was able to arrange for us to test drive the Honda Pilot on our own for a longer period of time which enabled us to take it to our mechanic for a prepurchase inspection. There were a couple items on the car that needed attention. Max immediately asked his manager to take a look at these and they agreed to resolve these items for us. When I pulled up, it turns out Max Ring was the one to come out and greet us. Normally, I find this annoying, but because it was him, I appreciated the connection. Max was very friendly and straightforward. He is very disarming, which is both relieving, but also makes negotiating a bit tougher. However, I believe we received a fair price on our Pilot.
