So much negative equity, GONE. This past week, I've had the pleasure of working with Jeff D. the sales manager at this location, along side one of the sales representatives , Cindy This past week, I've had the pleasure of working with Jeff D. the sales manager at this location, along side one of the sales representatives , Cindy L. Brilliance Honda of Crystal Lake went above and beyond to make sure my purchasing experience was excellent. Jeff and his team had provided the solution I needed to walk away from a negative equity hog, also known as Volkswagen. I didn't think I would ever be able to walk away from this car with out purchasing a high mileage, older vehicle. Not the case here. Jeff and Cindy worked with me on my every need, knew what I was looking for and made it happen. I absolutely will work with Brilliance Honda again in the future. You can purchase a car anywhere these days and get a decent deal. However, you can not purchase a car and get great customer service like they have provided here. If you are in the market to have a good experience, this dealership is a no brainer! They are a clear difference between a decent purchase experience vs. a great one. So for that, thank you Jeff & Cindy for making this experience great! More

Purchase experience was good both times we bought here I would have given 5 stars if I was only rating the buying experience (both times we bought). Our past experiences with the service department were on I would have given 5 stars if I was only rating the buying experience (both times we bought). Our past experiences with the service department were only a 3 star experience at best... Thus the 4 star overall rating for the dealership. We bought one of cars with an extended warranty & the maintenance packages through this dealership and each time we brought the car in for service we had to explain to them that we have an extended warranty, they should know this on their own when they look in our file on their computers. Also, our maintenance packages includes specific services at various intervals. The dealership did not send any notifications or messages telling us / reminding us when those included services should be done... we have found generally that dealership maintenance departments are always on the ball with such notifications and reminders when one doesn't buy the maintenance packages... This has been a disappointment that we are reminded of service when we don't prepay for those services, but then those dealerships are quiet as a mouse when we do buy these services in advance... This is not the only dealership where we have had a similar experience. There were other issues with the maintenance department having very poor communication when parts were needed to be ordered for a repair and we unnecessarily waited and waited for the parts to come in only to find out they were never ordered... We eventually did get the problem solved and the repair done, but that experience left a negative taste in our mouth. That said, both times we bought from this dealership the process was smooth, pleasant and we were very satisfied. We will likely buy again from this dealership, but are not sure where we will have cars serviced. More
Great stress free place to purchase a car. I was at several dealerships along with private party sales for a good condition used car. I explained why I wanted a used car, the situation I was in and thought the sales person understood. Guess they didn't. They only wanted to sell me a NEW car, which I couldn't afford. I found a car through CarGurus that looked promising. I walked in, thinking I would have the same experience as with the other dealerships. I couldn't have been more wrong! I sent the dealership an email regarding the car, and within 20 minutes someone called me back! He was interested in me, and what I needed as far as a vehicle. I set an appointment to see the car I called about, and if anything, the car information that was provided verbally was understated. This car is in excellent condition! Runs great, looks good, and is everything I wanted in a vehicle that I didn't think I would be able to get in the price range I was looking at. Although the car I purchased was not a Honda, my salesman seemed to know everything there was to know about this car, and the representation perfect. When I am in the market for a new car, I will be back to see if he is still there! More

Not only did the car impress us, we could not get over how friendly and genuine our salesman, Robert, was. We were determined to buy from Brilliance Honda (and Robert specifically) if we decided to buy the car. In the end we went back to Brilliance Honda, asked for Robert, and bought the car. Great experience! More
