This dealership answered all my questions and also provided me quotes on the different models. When I arrived, they were very friendly and introduced me right away to the salesperson that I would be working with. I test drove the cars I was interested in and then went back inside to start the wheeling and dealing process. He was understanding, not to pushy, and worked with me on the price and trade in value. There was just one point that I was ready to leave, but then we worked it out. It was a long process and tiring day, but I left knowing that I received a fair price for my car and trade in value. It does pay to do your homework before buying a car or, for that matter, anything really! Also, I learned the value of not going alone to buy a car. My friend provided me with good advice and direction. I would recommend this dealership to buy a car and I am very excited about my new Honda! More

Had my a/c compressor clutch replaced under warranty ( required removal of compressor) and when they reinstalled it they pinched an o-ring that caused the compressor to fail. $1000 out of my pocket. Called the service manager and never heard back. More

They always do great work with a great print out of all items inspected and a list of what to expect for future servicing. Today when I came in for basic oil change, I was curious about what other cars they had available. As a result, I drove out in a new (to me) certified pre-owned Accord. (Loved my first one and already know I'm gonna love the second too!) Jeff Cummings was my sales rep. He was straight forward and no playing games. He asked what I was looking for and what my terms were. From there, he got the process started and in a timely and courteous manner, he got me into my car. Darrell in the financial/business dept set me up with my paperwork and also treated me with respect and answered all my questions. These guys made the whole process easy and comfortable. Not feeling pressured or getting the usual run around is why I will always continue to come back to Brilliance Honda. Best customer service out there! More
A bad start with a good ending UPDATE: So if you read my initial review below I had some very harsh things to say about my experience with Brilliance Honda over a recent used veh UPDATE: So if you read my initial review below I had some very harsh things to say about my experience with Brilliance Honda over a recent used vehicle purchase I made there. I have left that review below so you can understand the problem. However, upon writing this review I was contacted by Kevin Keefe, the owner of Brilliance Honda. To say that he was distraught by my review would be an understatement. He immediately asked for the details of my experience and worked to understand my dissatisfaction. He then took the time to dig into the matter and figure out what happened. In the end, every one of my concerns were addressed and resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. Kevin went out of his way to make sure that there was no reason for me to remain dissatisfied, even where it cost him some extra money. The only reason I have not updated my rating to 5 stars is because we had a problem in the first place. No matter how good you are or how hard you try there is eventually going to be a deal that does not go smoothly. How one responds to and deals with a problem is more important than never having a problem in the first place. Kevin dealt with the problems in a positive and proactive way. He never accused me of making things up nor did he assume that his people were above making mistakes. He objectively got the info he needed, took the time he needed to understand the issues, and then made a plan that would work for him and make me happy. That is integrity and having solid integrity is more important than never having a problem in the first place. As a result of Kevin's integrity I have changed my rating from less than one star to 4 stars. I would also highly recommend doing business with Brilliance Honda, not because you will never have a problem but because if you do they will resolve it to your satisfaction. Original Review: First, let me say that this review is based on the purchase of a used car. Their service department is excellent and I have nothing but good things to say about that. However, we recently purchased a used car from Brilliance. Now, I admit that used cars are not new cars and so some flaws in the car is to be expected. However, the only words that fit for the sales team is shyster. First of all the "salesman" we worked with was really nothing more than a greeter and errand boy. When it came time to negotiate the deal for the car he had to run every decision past the "sales manager". I was not allowed to negotiate directly with the sales manager but had to go through this errand boy. This resulted in a lot of miscommunication and running back and forth. If the salesman cannot sell then get rid of him. Secondly, the car was advertised at "$3000.00 under Kelley Blue Book" however when I looked it up on Kelly Blue Book it was actually priced at the highest possible value you could find on the KBB.com website. As a result they really did not want to deal too much because I was "already getting a great deal". Third, when we went to negotiate the value of my trade in they came back with an "offer" of less than the lowest value on KBB.com. When I questioned this they changed their tune and said "Kelley Blue Book is just a guideline" To which I responded "that is not what you said when we were talking about your car" do these people think I am an idiot? Fourth, when we took if for a test drive there were several problems found with the car (lots of dummy lights going off on the dashboard, doors not opening, etc. Their answer "the cold weather is hard on cars" Really, my trade in was fine in the cold weather. I told them I was not going to buy the car because of this and then they finally had the service department look at it. Guess what? The battery was bad. Again, do they think I am stupid? Fifth, the finance guy kept messing up all the forms. He must have misprinted at least half the forms dragging out the process three to four times as long as it needed to take. Sixth, we finally get the deal done and are getting ready to drive away and they hand me one key for the car. I ask for the others and they tell me they only got one and that is all I get. Really? What dealership sells a car with only one key? When I pressed them to get me another the Sales Manager who finally showed his face got downright rude and nasty with me. I finally got them to get me a second key, but I still ended up "splitting the cost of the key" with them. This place has no concept of customer service. The car we purchased was not a Honda (as I stated it was a used car). Since there was still some of the original manufacturers warranty left on the car we took it to that brands dealer to have some minor things fixed under the existing warranty. What I learned from that dealer was astounding. First of all, I learned that the rear brakes were completely gone. They were not even functioning any more. Fortunately, there was a service bulletin about this and they were covered under the warranty. The second thing I learned was that Brilliance Honda did not even change the oil or air filters before selling me this car. Really? What kind of dealer does not inspect and do routine maintenance items like oil changes and filter changes on used cars before reselling them. I could almost understand not fixing the brakes but they should have either inspected and repaired them or disclosed that the brakes were bad and lowered the price, but to not even inspect something like the brakes? Who would do that? Isn't your reputation worth a few dollars and time to ensure your customers are both satisfied and happy? Apparently not at Brilliance. The brand dealer did go over the car and fixed everything that could be covered under warranty and even changed the oil and filters for us. Now that is service, especially since we had not even bought the car there. The net result: If you need your Honda worked on the service department is top notch. If you want to buy any car, new or used, go somewhere else. More
