Hello Sir, My name is Ashley Bauerline the new internet manager for Buchanan. I'm sorry you have had a bad experience with our store. I spoke with Kevin and he said that this was an interesting case. I think you may have been interested in one of our corvettes. Is that correct? Unfortunately, it is very difficult to sell a vehicle over the phone. The numbers are extremely hard to correctly work out without ALL of the information needed. That is why we greatly encourage people to come to the dealership because selling a car over the phone simply doesn't work. It is also my understanding that you DID visit the dealership, and I want to personally thank you for the time you committed back in September to visit us. I'm sorry that upon visiting you were unsatisfied with your experience. Also, in the "Rules to Beat Your Best Deal" we do have a contingency that the vehicle must be exactly the same. Unfortunately this does mean that every option must align between the two for the $1,000 to be offered. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely don't think that it was okay for you to not have been contacted/"ignored." I'm very sorry for that. It is not the way we like to do business at Buchanan and that never should have happened. I'm unsure as to the exact details of the visit, but if there is anything that I can do at this point to change your opinion with Buchanan please feel free to contact me letting me know what that may be. Thank you very much for your review. I appreciate reading them whether negative or positive, and I hope that this response makes you feel a little bit better that your voice has been heard. Unfortunately this response does not help. The rules as sent to me did not stipulate all options on vehicle did not have to be identical. Because your dealership told me that you would work with me on competitive price, I took you at your word. The other vehicle was sold at competitor so I lost out on that deal. You then even ignored my multiple attempts to come back down to dealership to resolve. Bottom line is your dealership was not truthful about meeting competitive deal. Ignored my attempts for me to come in and resolve. So interesting months later that you say I should've come back down down. You relied on high pressure sale and manipulation of the rules at my expense. It was not only your internet manager, but I also tried to reach out to sales manager and salesperson on my multiple requests. I had no intention of driving a couple hours back down only to get the same run around. It was also interesting that another gentleman called me about the issue. I believe a Martin James or something. He even gave me his cell phone. He said he would get back to me. Never did. I reached out to him and he seemed surprised that I called back. He told me he talked to manager and the best price they could do was materially more than where we started, and further from competitive dealer. Interesting enough, I received a customer appreciation note from your dealership the same day stipulating deals on vehicles that would have made this vehicle $2,000. cheaper than what was quoted as best price from manager. When I reached out to ask why, I got no reply. At the time, the way to satisfy my opinion would be to sell me the vehicle at the same price another dealer could have along with explaining being ignored vs. being straight with me. Not to mention why so many fluctuations in the story. Again, it wasn't the fault of one person. There were many folks that could have solved my concern, but they chose to ignore me.

One more point of clarification. I also had reached out multiple times via email to these individuals. Including a note from manager that said to contact him via phone to meet price. He ignored my multiple phone messages to reach out to him and subsequent emails...
