The service department is not what it used to be Over the last year the service department at Bud Brown has deteriorated. I had called the morning of my service to see if I could be fit in that afte Over the last year the service department at Bud Brown has deteriorated. I had called the morning of my service to see if I could be fit in that afternoon. The service associate told me no problem after 3:30. When I arrived st 3:30, i was not greeted at my car. When I entered the office , the first service associate at the first desk on the left said that the service I requested was not part of express. I mentioned that I called in the morning and asked about what I was needing and was told that it was. He replied with “have you ever had your car serviced here?” I said yes. He then asked “have you had this service completed here before?” I said yes. He pulled me up in the system and said that they did not have record of them ever completing the requested service and then went on to condescendingly explain to me about how this feature of my car works. I told him to check again and he found it. There was no apology just a “I did not go back far enough”. I told him that I have a warning light going off on the requested service. He then asked what color the warning light was. I replied with orange. At this time, the associate pawned me off to another associate (Kelly) to help me as it was clear the original associate had no interest in helping me. This used to be one of the best service departments in town. I bought my car at Bud Brown and have never had it serviced elsewhere. My husband gets his Volkswagon serviced at Bud Brown. Too. My husband and I will both be in the market for new cars soon; however, will be looking at other options outside of volkswagon. Jake used to be our primary contact in the service center and he was fabulous. Jake’s absence in the service department really shows. Kelly was cordial but the original service associate ( Unfortunately I did not get his name) needs some customer service training. More
