We recently purchased a used certified 2009 Jetta from Bud Brown Volkswagen. A few days after taking possession, we detected some paint flaws that frankly were not noticed before we finalized the deal on Bud Brown Volkswagen. After I took the car in for service two weeks after taking possession, I was approached by Larry Swanson as I walked through the used cars on display. When he mentioned he was the used car sales manager, I decided to express my concerns about the paint flaws. He was very friendly and listened patiently to me. He said he would examine the car while it was in the service department and get back to me later that day. To make a long story shorter, Larry insisted on taking the car back. Another used certified 2008 Jetta had come in that we liked even better, at the same price point, so we were offered and accepted an even exchange. We are now very pleased with our purchase. I consider this experience to be an example of customer service at its finest. As first-time Bud Brown customers, it's obvious to me our future business is important to them. We will probably be in the market for a Tiguan in the next year or two and naturally this will be the dealership we will come to first. I'm a repeat VW Passat customer and walked into the dealership already fairly sure I would be getting another. Chris Jung met me almost immediately, answered my questions, gave me some literature and dealership already fairly sure I would be getting another. I test drove the 5 cylinder that first day and liked it but also wanted to drive the diesel. Chris followed up later to let me know a diesel was available to drive so I went in and I knew I'd found my car. The very best part of the whole experience is that I never felt pressured. Always available to provide information, Chris, simply allowed me to work through the decision process for myself - which is exactly the way I want to be "sold" to. When the car I ultimately ordered arrived Chris made the purchase easy and showed me around the details of my new car. Working through the trade-in, final details and paperwork with Steve Everhart was equally painless and without the kind of pressure tactics I've experienced at other dealerships. I came to Bud Brown in hopes of purchasing a car that I saw online and the sales staff made the process very easy and straight forward.
