My wife and I had been on the minivan search for over a month. We had tried finding a vehicle by private party sellers via Craigslist, Auto Trader, and referrals from friends & family. We had also tried month. We had tried finding a vehicle by private party sellers via Craigslist, Auto Trader, and referrals from friends & family. We had also tried going to around 10 dealers in the Lima, Dayton, and Columbus areas. Unfortunately, we were overlooking what was right in our back yard - Bud's. We were beginning to get frustrated with the hunt and my wife decided to swing by a few local dealers which had vehicles that past our preliminary online inspection and scouting. On Wednesday my wife went to Bud's and was greeted by a friendly and helpful staff, specifically Randy. My wife called me at work 3 times while she was at Bud's. My wife doesn't call me at work. Ever. But she did while at Bud's... 3 times! She was having a good time and found a Honda Odyssey that she really liked. Randy had made her feel comfortable and at ease, which was why my wife had called me 3 times. She liked the vehicle, but was more impressed by the service, manners, and insight provided to her by Randy and the Bud's team. Bud's helped my wife put in our two car seats into the minivan and let her head out for the day with the Odyssey. They told her to bring the Odyssey home, let me and our mechanic inspect it, and to bring it back later that night. We did just that. We brought it back at about 7:30p (they close at 8p), kept Randy and a few others late, and made an offer on the Odyssey. Our offer was accepted and we got ourselves a brand new (to us) van! Randy and the Bud's team were nothing short of awesome. We're really happy with the van, but more happy with the service and manner in which the Bud's team carried themselves during our time with them. All this goes to show... don't look so far away when the best place to go may be right in your back yard. And to sweeten the sale, Randy even provided us with his first ever, hand crafted fridge magnet! :-) Thanks to Randy and the rest of the Bud's team. You guys are awesome! More
