The Service Team were great to work with. John in particular was thorough attentive and provided recommendations on what the Rouge vehicle needed now and what to do, for later consideration. The Sales Team is great to work with, however, NEVER go to this service department. I've used them three times, and all three times they said they completed work they didn't do (i.e. replace windshield wip to this service department. I've used them three times, and all three times they said they completed work they didn't do (i.e. replace windshield wiper blades, rotate tires, change the oil). Daisy Ramirez is the Service Manager, and the entire team outside of the service department say she's the issue with this location and it's so bad they won't even take their own cars there, and they've even said "you'd be better off changing your own oil than taking it here - it's terrible." So we took it to Burien Nissan. They said we needed a new on-board charger, for which they wanted to charge us $3100. They also said our car needed 8 other things, to bring the total, including shop fees and tax, to $5028, which is more than the car is worth. We were stunned, took our car to High Road Automotive, and independent shop in Ballard, and they repaired the charging port (which they said was scorched from a short) for $1100, which fixed the problem. We then went to Foreign Car Workshop for the rest of the flagged areas, most of which they said weren't even necessary or had clearly already been done, and paid $326. So less than $1500 vs $5,000. I know dealerships have a reputation for high fees, but this is really unconscionable, and I wonder whether it was because my wife brought the car in and they thought they could take advantage of her. Needless to say I'll never take another car to Burien Nissan again. More
