This dealership is only worried about the sale and that is it, there is no customer service after the sale of the vehicle. You would think a salesperson would give a customer a second key to their vehicle More

My Dealership participates in the DealerRater Certified Dealer Program. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at our dealership. Will you please contact me at your convenience to discuss this issue? Thanks, Frank Sobyak fsobyak@parkplacetexas.com

Hello Frank, I recently purchased a vehicle from Honda of Burleson and at the time of purchase I was given one key for the vehicle. After about a month I figured it would be a good idea to get an extra key in case the one was miss placed or locked inside. I went back to the dealership and waited at least 20 minutes at the counter as no one was there to assist me and then the employee stated that the key would be about $60 which is a little high but I understand the technology involved so I said that was fine. He then stated that I would be charged a fee to bring the car in and have it lifted up for some reason and that would be a charge of about $100. I think this is ridiculous and the employee agreed that it was but that is the only way to do it. So I go ask the salesperson that sold me the vehicle and asked if the dealership would work with me on the price as $160 is unrealistic. He said his hands were tied and he had to pay the same price as anyone else that wanted an extra key. So I am wondering, where is the empowering of the employee to make a customer happy and offer a discounted price. I was willing to pay for $60 and would have left knowing that the dealership lost a few dollars but that I would definitely be back to purchase cars in the future for way more than it cost to make a customer happy. Maybe I am wrong and you don't see it my way but we all have opinions so I wrote mine.

There is a ton of technologies in the keys these days... if you had a Mercedes or a BMW you would be looking at something in the $250 range. That's just what it is. Since it appears that we had a misunderstanding, as the Client Advocate for Honda of Burleson, I'll see what I can do to help you out. Can we make you a satisfied and supportive client if we pick up the difference from the original quote of $60? Let me know. Thanks, Frank
