My father and I were looking to get a luxury mid size SUV for the family and we were just ending a lease with our 2016 Nissan Rouge SV (Premium Packag My father and I were looking to get a luxury mid size SUV for the family and we were just ending a lease with our 2016 Nissan Rouge SV (Premium Package). After being loyal customers to Nissan for nearly 20 years, because of a slight hiccup with a late payment in a 20 year track record of perfection, we were denied financing at a decent rate. The only reason we were late with a payment was because my father had to have a hip replacement surgery and he was let go from his job 5 days prior and we were going through a hardship. I do not make enough money to cover all our bills so we were a bit tight financially for about 3 weeks. Now, Nissan still got paid in full but because of the issue with our credit, they refused to work with us for our new vehicle. Offering ridiculous terms and requiring outrageous down payment's for base models. This left a bad taste in our mouths. After being refereed to Burlington KIA by a family friend and also several of my friends love their KIA's, we decided to check them out and my goodness were we glad we did! We purchased a 2018 KIA Sorento SX Limited, and it has EVERY feature imaginable! Drives as beautifully if not, BETTER than a Lexus or Mercedes! Mind Blown at how far KIA has come! With only $2000 down, we worked with Brian (our sales rep), Jean-Claude (sales manager) and Joe (financing manager). We could not have asked for a better team! Relentlessly, they worked with finance companies explaining our situation, adjusted numbers where need be and got us financing at an amazing rate, mind you, this is after a closed bankruptcy! The dealership is top notch, they have a coffee bar, a bakery cabinet, vending machines, little desk areas if you need to bring your laptop to get work done while having your car serviced, ect. We will def be customers of Burlington KIA for as long as we reside here in NJ! Love our new Sorento! See Brian, Jean Claude and Joe! They are awesome! The rest of the team seemed great as well! What an incredibly genuine, nice & honest person...we got lucky having him assist us, such a pleasure dealing with John. We dealt with the Kia sales manager, Jean-Claude Duplessis, who worked up a great purchase price for us. At “no point” in the negotiations did we ever feel pressured by Jean-Claude to make a sale. We could have up & walked out at “any time”, but he said to us...”I want YOU to be happy...what will it take to do that?” And Jean-Claude worked up a great price & John gave us the KEY to our 2019 Kia Optima.
