Service Department Experience I carried my Camry in for 80,000 mile checkup - Oil change, Transmission flush, rotate tires, etc. All work was don within a couple of hours. GREAT SERVICE Unfortunately I had used Lowe Toyota in Warner Robins - two or three times - for service on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. The first time I used them to have Unfortunately I had used Lowe Toyota in Warner Robins - two or three times - for service on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. The first time I used them to have the 70,000 mile service completed they sent me on my way after taking my money and supposedly doing the work properly. Well, the following day I drove my vehicle and the "check engine" light came on. Fortunately I was near their building so I pulled in and spoke with the Service Manager who took my vehicle into the service area. After about an hour I was informed that the "issue" had been corrected. When I aske what the "issue" was I was told that they had neglected to reconnect a hose, but they had fixed it. The next time I took my vehicle in for service I was told that I needed new tires, so I arranged to come back the next day to have the tires put on the vehicle. Tires were put on, and I was told my vehicle was ready. When I got into my vehicle and turned on the key I find that one of the "tire lights" was flashing. None were flashing when I left it in their hands. After some discussion, they determined that maybe they needed to find out why. Again they took my vehicle to their service area and after an hour, plus, they came back to me and told me that it was quitting time and that they still hadn't figured out the problem, that I needed to bring my vehicle back the next day and they would continue to see if they could find the problem. From what I was told when I brought it back, they never did diagnose the problem, something about them not having the necessary equipment. So, they just replaced the sensors. After driving the vehicle for a day or two, I was very dissatisfied with the tires, went back, they ordered different tires. When they got the tires in I had to go back to have them installed. They sent me on my way once again, the next day when I went to start my vehicle, the "tire light" came on and stayed on. I called them, wrote letter, got some cock and bull story and that is when I decided that while Lowe Toyota is about 1 mile or so from me, they were NEVER going to touch my vehicle again and I contacted Butler. They gave me an appointment to take my truck to them, they looked at the problem, fixed it, no charge, and I was on my way. When my vehicle needed servicing this time, and from now on, Butler Toyota will be my go-to service center. Thank you very much. More
