Making a Wretched Situation Tolerable While in Atlanta for a speaking engagement, the front right tire of my PRIUS V blew out. After getting the spare put on and reaching my lodgings for the evening, I proceeded to investigate getting a replacement. The Atlanta Toyota dealer with whom a spoke offered me his "best price" of $275 installed. So I called Butler, from whom I had originally purchased the vehicle. Their price: $126. So I drove the backroads from Atlanta to Macon (staying at 50 mph and below. I arrived at Butler a little ahead of schedule, but they took my in, wrote me up, sat me down in air conditioned comfort. Sooner than I had expected, the work was completed and at the price quoted (plus tax, of course). To say I was pleased would be an understatement. Everyone I dealt with at Butler went out of their way to make me feel welcome and appreciated. Which I greatly appreciated. But I wasn't surprised; all my dealings with Butler Toyota have been above expectations. While I'm ashamed to admit I can't remember the name of the lovely young lady who greeted me the moment I rolled in, Brian Hatfield was my service advisor and, whatever he's being paid, it isn't enough. More
