Went in for a bad starter needing exchanged. But before they could check starter, mechanic said they couldn't check starter until bad battery was replaced. So I put new battery in and tok back t But before they could check starter, mechanic said they couldn't check starter until bad battery was replaced. So I put new battery in and tok back to buttons for starter again and they charged again for diagnostic. I have a bumper to bumper warranty. But got charged twice. $195.00 for battery diagnostic and $100 for warranty deductible. More

Service department appears to be motivated to upsell service that is “needed” and not be able to diagnose and repair what the vehicle was brought in for in the first place. The service employees are al service that is “needed” and not be able to diagnose and repair what the vehicle was brought in for in the first place. The service employees are all very friendly but we have lost our trust in Buttons as a dealership due the last several years of issues we have had with the service department. We have been loyal to Buttons for over 40 years but feel it is time to find another place for service that is more knowledgeable and trustworthy. So sad for Kokomo. More
