Buyer Beware! Do not purchase a used vehicle from Byerly. We purchased a new Pathfinder in 2014 from Byerly Nissan and all went well so we decided to return when looking for another new car for my Byerly. We purchased a new Pathfinder in 2014 from Byerly Nissan and all went well so we decided to return when looking for another new car for my wife and a used car form my 17 year old son. We purchased a used Ford Escape for my son and within 2 hours of leaving the sales lot the Check Engine Light started signaling. I immediately called and emailed to inform the dealership of the issue but received no reply. The next day I called the used car manager "Guy" and he basically told me to pound sand as I purchased a used car with no warranty. I didn't expect a warranty but I did purchase in good faith from what I thought was a reputable company so I figured they should stand behind their product for at least 24 hours. So, the day after purchasing a used vehicle from Byerly I'm spending $350 in a shop getting it repaired. My mechanic told me this was not a new issue and the Check Engine Light could have been reset but couldn't be sure. Either way this is not the kind of company I will ever do business with again based on principal and their shady business practices. I suggest to anyone looking for a used vehicle to stay away from Byerly. More
