Our Nightmare 2017 Ford Titanium Escape! We purchased our first brand new vehicle in our thirty years of marriage, a New 2017 Titanium Escape Ruby Red in November. it was to be for my Anniver We purchased our first brand new vehicle in our thirty years of marriage, a New 2017 Titanium Escape Ruby Red in November. it was to be for my Anniversary but it took four trips to Byerly to get the payment where I budget for. In April I had notice places in the driver door like paint peeling and on the passenger right door it was a place like something was coming from door. After my husband called and spoke with Karen our sales lady she put him through to the body shop. My daughter and I took it in on April 6 Thursday we are two and half hours from the dealership. Steve came and looked and said it was something in the paint coming out from the Factory. He then went to the other door and said this is what we call a stamp. Both being Factory Defects he then had us wait while pictures were taken and sent to Ford. We waited and was given a car to drive back home. on April 13 my husband took off from work and we get to Dealership to get Escape after looking it over it is worse. Steve gets Dan and he goes over it and says I'm really sorry. I tell them this isn't right this is a new car it had a little over 1500 and now has 1714 miles. Dan ask me what I want I said a new Escape not one that you have sanded doors down and repainted. He tells me to call Ford we speak with Karen and she says you need to write Ford. I said I cannot believe you are not standing behind this. This is a $31000 vehicle. This is next to buying a home. I said get Ford on the phone Steve laughed and said we can't get them on the phone. So we leave with the Escape the following day we open case with Ford and they tell us to let them try and fix it if not we will start a buy back. So again we take back on April 24th. on April 28th which is my birthday I drive in storms to get this Escape. I was given a rental car from Enterprise that was acting up so I had phone Enterprise on my way to Byerly Ford to let them know I am having car issues. Upon arriving it is raining and gloomy on a Friday afternoon I ask Steve if when the sun shine it is going to look right he assures me yes. As I pull in at our local DQ to meet my husband and daughter in law the light shining on the Escape reveals places all in the door and fender. On Saturday I have my son come over to see what Byerly has done. On Monday I call Ford and give them all the information on every detail to buffering places, paint runs, primer showing with no paint applied and the places on the passenger door that looks like ripples under the handle and a line down the door from where stamp place was removed and other issues on our New Escape. Ford opens another case this time for a buy back to replace this Escape with one just like it or the Money we have paid on it. They give us CSM Debbie Zaremba a regional manager. I tell her we are not talking about a defective part being replaced this is a new vehicle that has had the factory paint remove and doors removed to fix Ford defects. You can't keep messing with metal. So we now are into almost two months of emails, phone calls and my husband taking off his job again to take to another Ford Dealership to take pictures and report all issues that they are seeing. The dealership thought our Escape had been wrecked and this was repairs from that not that it was repairs because of defects. We told them No! They told us to get ahold of Ford which is easier said than done. This dealership happened to have a Ford Rep there that day that I called to get a list of what all they sent to the Ford CSM on the issues with our Escape they discussed our Escape and because they did not create the problems they have refused to try and fix the problem.I have called and talked to Dan at Byerly my husband has called him and asked for paperwork showing what they done and Dan said his secretary was out for the Derby they would get to us on that following Monday as of today nothing. I called the Friday before Derby ask for owner, manager of Byerly I told the lady who I was. I was told everyone was out and would not be back to Monday. She let me leave a voicemail for someone. There have been no return calls My husband bought us this new Escape so he would not have to worry about my daughter and I on the road. Our 17 year old daughter won a scholarship to attend Murray this summer to go toward her schooling in 2018 when she graduates. We have our vacation planned in June and we have a new Ford Escape sitting in our driveway with 2200 miles 600 miles in which has been added from taking to Ford for repairs from Factory Defects. While we drive our 11 year old van with over 200,000 miles. We just made our 5th payment on the Escape. Something is wrong with this picture. My husband again called Bylerly and spoke with Karen and told her a lawsuit was about to happen. All we are getting is I'm sorry! We have opened a case with BBB and as of last week took all the paperwork to our a lawyer. No one should have to go through what we have and are still going through on a new Ford Vehicle which had 6 miles on it. Byerly and Ford needs to step up! More

Melissa (sales person) was informative, respectful, and kind. I never felt rushed into the purchase decision or that she truly wasn't trying to be helpful. John (finance agent) was respectful, informative, and kind as well. He found me a lower interest rate than the loan I came to the dealership with. More

So I was not surprised when I walked into Byerly last Monday and was warmly greeted by Ms. Melissa Russell. She was very helpful and patient in showing me several different options and packages on the new F 150, and I finally settled on an XLT Super Cab and am very pleased with the deal. Easy 5 star rating. More
