They scheduled me to have service for two recalls at my house between 9-10 am. Tech showed up at 9:45 and only did one recall that took 2 minutes and was not requested by me. First experience there. Had our '17 Explorer in for some repairs covered by a warranty bought with the vehicle at another dealer (Bill C.) across town. The service guy at BC Had our '17 Explorer in for some repairs covered by a warranty bought with the vehicle at another dealer (Bill C.) across town. The service guy at BCF wanted us to bring the car in just so he could enter/scan it into the system, then later take it back to drop off to get it worked on. I asked him if I can't just give him the VIN over the phone as opposed to driving across town and he said no, that everyone would want to do that. No fooling Captain Obvious. Who wouldn't want to save an hr of their life with a 5 min phone call? No such idiocy at Byerly. Smarter people I'm guessing or they don't think it a "stroke of genius" to have customers waste time driving there just to log the car into their system only to bring it back later to drop off for repairs. Some serious smarts there (sarcasm intended). As for our visit. Several things were addressed completely to our satisfaction. Was treated well by everyone there and was informed about the progress. I've bought parts there for things I can do, but never had service done there and it was a very pleasant experience. Will gladly continue to take all of our Fords there. More
