I was greeted at the door by Janie with a warm smile and although I walked in the door nervous about my poor credit history I walked out with keys to a brand new 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport!!! Janie asked me about features that I wanted in a car, so she actually cared about putting me in a car that suited my needs. The manager, Shantel, is also friendly and she made sure that I got the exact car that I wanted. Not only was my car buying experience great, my car payment is affordable!! The staff is friendly, personable, and genuine. There is no doubt in my mind that CBS is the best place in the Raleigh/Durham area to purchase a car at an affordable rate with great customer service. Terrible Service We purchased a 2012 VW Passat. I informed HB our Sales Associate that it needed new tires, they refused to replace, we blew one the next week on HWY 4 We purchased a 2012 VW Passat. I informed HB our Sales Associate that it needed new tires, they refused to replace, we blew one the next week on HWY 40. Car refused to start day after we purchased it. Had to have it towed two times in one week. The battery had three bad cells. No mats for the car. I have been in contact with HB our sales person...his pitch is you bought the car "as is" and it passed inspection. When we took the car to a reputable dealer/ service center they said the car should not have passed. The tires were so worn and battery so week that CBS basically washed the car and rolled onto their lot. So, within 10 days of ownership we spent an additional $740.00 for items that CBS and HB should of cared about prior to the sell. Or at least offer some sort of restitution. Love the Passat and No love for CBS. More
