I made an appointment for a software update to my vehicle phone/Uconnect system. When I arrived at dealership female employee at desk couldn’t find my appointment. After accepting my vehicle I was advised it phone/Uconnect system. When I arrived at dealership female employee at desk couldn’t find my appointment. After accepting my vehicle I was advised it would be 25 minutes for courtesy shuttle. I waited in lounge for an hour and then returned to desk to check status of shuttle same female employee seemed surprised and put out at my inquiry. She said she would have to call me an Uber and I should return to the lounge. After another 20 minutes the Uber arrived. The following day I called to check status of my vehicle and was told nobody was available but someone would call me back, yet nobody did . The next day female employee called me to ask questions on behalf of mechanic indicating to me that they had not even looked at my vehicle yet even though I had an appointment two days prior. The employee said she’d call me back shortly which she did two hours later to advise the vehicle was done. Additionally the mechanic did a full inspection of vehicle besides the requested software update and attempted an upscale of services for an additional $2100. Although I appreciate his being so thorough I don’t understand how The extent of repairs manifested during the 3,000 miles since the last time it was in the shop for an oil change. The mechanic seemed very thorough but the delearship seemed busy, unorganized and unprepared. I will think twice about returning if I make an appointment and still have to wait for days to even have someone look at the vehicle . More
