Great, painless experience. I used the Consumer Reports Build & Buy online. Even though there were other dealerships closer to me in Kingsport, TN, only Valley Subaru responded I used the Consumer Reports Build & Buy online. Even though there were other dealerships closer to me in Kingsport, TN, only Valley Subaru responded with a quote. So I drove the 3 1/2 hours to Staunton, VA. Before I left Kingsport I looked up the KBB value of my trade-in and decided it was worth $8000. There I met Jessie Pletcher, the young lady who first called me and Coroluce d'Orvillier. Coroluce took me for a test drive while others looked over my Civic. When we returned, they had already written their offer for $8000 without any discussion or haggling. Coroluce and I easily agreed on terms based on the price they had previously given me and they held the car with a small earnest check until I could close on a house. I called back later to add some accessories which were installed when I arrived to pick up the car, and at prices that were no more than the retail value I had researched. Overall it was a completely stress-free, even pleasant experience. Yes I would whole-heartedly recommend this dealership. More
