Extremely unsatisfied I am extremely unhappy with our buying experience overall. We came to the dealership to test drive vehicles and check prices and decided after all to I am extremely unhappy with our buying experience overall. We had told the staff that we needed to get our infant son home to bed and were told it would be 10-15 more minutes until they had the numbers ready. We told them we wanted to go home and think about it and they pressured us to do something right then. We continued to tell them we needed to get the baby home to bed. We were ignored. When they asked us our budget and what we planned on giving for a down payment, we were very straight forward in telling them. The salesperson continued to put higher numbers down even though we tried to tell her that's not what we wanted. Throughout, they kept telling us we were getting an unbelievable deal and making us think they were taking money off the vehicle. We were told they had only sold 2 cars when they normally sell 10 a day, so they were willing to work with is. All this dealership is interested in is meeting their quota. There was absolutely no transparency at all and we felt like the real numbers were being hidden from us. When it came time for us to start signing papers, it was evident that in order to make it look like we were getting a great deal, they extended the life of the loan over 75 months and not 60 like we had asked. 2 hours later we ended up leaving. The next day, remote start was to be installed. We were told our vehicle was going to be first in that day and they would let us know when it was done. After repeated attempts to get ahold of the salesperson to ask what the status was, I finally called the service department only to find out they first of all couldn't find our vehicle and second, weren't going to be able to fit it in that day as promised. My husband ended up back at Cable Dahmer that evening to tell them we were unhappy with how things had been handled and Mike was very helpful in trying to rectify the situation. He was the only bright spot in the whole process. It was a very frustrating experience and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More

Amazing. I have been to many dealerships and every time I get the same thing. Because I'm a girl I always feel like they are trying to basically screw me over. So when I went to cable Dahmer I didn't have high expectations on getting a car. But then I get there and had loads of help and the first car I test drove I ended up buying. I would recommend them to anyone! More

Frank Vig was an outstanding salesman! I needed a newer car and asked a friend of my father to track one down for us. Our friend had previously sold cars for a living and worked with Frank I needed a newer car and asked a friend of my father to track one down for us. Our friend had previously sold cars for a living and worked with Frank years ago. He tracked down for us a 2009 Nissan Versa and we checked it out down at Cable Dahmer. The car was great, and we got everything worked out and closed on the car a few days later. The car itself had a few minor issues. First, the check engine light came on, and Frank arranged for a Nissan dealership near me to check it out. It just needed the computer to be reprogrammed, which was quick and easy. Then the check engine light came on again! This time the Nissan dealership had to keep it a few days, where they replaced the fuel pump. They also replaced some suspension parts that were recalled. Frank also arranged for Cable Dahmer to clean the interior of the car because it had a slightly funky smell, and it was completely cleaned out and looked like new! The check engine light came on for a third time (!) but it turned out that the gas cap wasn't on tight enough, and I'm happy to report that I've had no other issues with the car. Frank was super friendly, treated me with great respect, and made sure everything we needed fixed up on the car was taken care of to my complete satisfaction. I was so pleased with the buying experience, I am recommending Frank & Cable Dahmer to everyone I know who needs a car! More

Arrogant and Disdainful! I drove up from Southern Missouri to buy a replacement truck that was listed on Cars.Com. I even put down a deposit to hold the truck until I could get there on Saturday. My experience with the sales staff was great until it came time to buy. They brought over their muscle guy to twist my arm (accept their offer). He repeated their same offer a dozen times without budging. I gave in $500 and they would not budge by $138 for the sale. The manager left me alone, so I followed and requested they please review my last offer; then Troy Burke spoke up. This guy is very rude, condescending and arrogant; ie "I cannot understand why would a guy not accept this deal and choose to leave" I held my cool while he was very disrespectful. After I request just a $138 so my financing would not be exceeded; he said "No, we are done dealing. We are done." Since I liked the truck, and went ahead and forked over the $138; but I'm totally flabbergasted with Troy. Is that amount really going to break this dealership? They have their built in profit on every deal with the $199 administrative fee (which is an unnecessary charge for those that don't know, its not a required fee). I cannot recommend this dealership as long as Mr. Burke is in the position he's in. Which also speaks volumes about this dealership and its management style that allows this treatment. I hear Troy's only been in the position 1 month and its obviously gone to his head or its the peter principal (rise to their level of incompetence). STAY AWAY, its easier for a buyer to find another dealership than for a dealership to find another customer, especially one who is ready to buy! Good Luck! More
