New Tahoe I really wasn’t in the market for a new Tahoe. But unfortunately i was rear ended by a semi in early May. The longer it took to work through insurance I really wasn’t in the market for a new Tahoe. But unfortunately i was rear ended by a semi in early May. The longer it took to work through insurance on details of the repair the anxiety i had about driving it. Amanda called to see what they needed to do to get me in a new Tahoe. I started the process with Jim who was wonderful! Kelly really knocked the service out of the park closing with me! I bought my 2012 Tahoe from Jamie and working with him this time on the financing worked out really well. I’m very grateful for everyone’s patience and VERY happy with my new 2018 Tahoe!! More

Not only has she been professional but her personal touch with the information provided about what is going on with the car and doing her best to work with people knowing that every situation is different and catering to those needs of people goes a long way. Not to mention everyone in the service department we have worked with like John Price has also helped us before with service on our vehicles and they never cease to impress. We will continue to come to the service department for service on our vehicles because we trust the workers and trust the work done. Thank you so much April for the help with the Malibu Recently. Respecting your customers goes a LONG way! Cable Dahmer: I've bought 5 cars (Both new and used) for me and my family from Cable Dahmer in the past 6 years, mostly because what they sell me is a piece of garbage that can't last more than 2-3 years before you are faced with repairs equal or greater than the car's actual value, even with regular service from them and an extended warranty which proves to be utterly useless. When a customer asks for their keys back, it is not a conversation, a negotiation, or a hostage situation. It is not your property and you have no right to keep the keys in the sales managers office. If you trained your sales staff to not be hyper-aggressive, uncaring, dead soul robots maybe you would have more return business and every other dealership in the area wouldn't call your dealerships garbage. For those wondering what I'm talking about: When they take your trade in to get an estimate on it, then never return your keys so you basically have to either make a sale or repeatedly demand your keys back. This is a common and very outdated high pressure sales tactic commonly called "Keys on the roof" because you want to leave but your keys are out of reach and they only give them back after you've said no another 10 times or they make you cave in to a sale. And anyone thinking about buying an extended warranty through Cable Dahmer might as well set fire to $4000 because their warranty covers EVERYTHING... until it breaks.. then, conveniently their warranty you spent good money on WONT COVER THE COST (I'm not walking about wearable parts either) For buyers, sellers, traders etc be informed on your trade in and on the actual value of the car you're looking at these websites are free and tools to help you secure a fair deal. nada.com kbb.com P.S. Cable Dahmer, When you have a vehicle in your used lot that is 18 years old and are asking $10,000 for a car that is valued at a max of $3000-$4500 (via NADA and KBB) retail you know you are a scummy dealer with no respect for the people that make the mistake of spending their money there and are actively looking to prey on consumers. There is no excuse for this behavior. I think it's pretty clear at this point, I'll not spend another dime in your stores and I'll get what's free or what blood I can squeeze from your turnip garbage extended warranties. If something my family owns needs repairs I'll take it to McCarthy-Morse where the staff isn't trained to BS me and try to force a sale or a repair. More

What I believe happened is that between my decision on the car and the time I left the finance office they raised the price a few thousand dollars hoping I wouldn’t catch it, and I didn’t unfortunately. I had referred a friend to them and she had the same problem however I recently found out she had caught the error before agreeing to sign and the finance guy played it off as a minor mistake. In theory I should be down to about 10-11 thousand left on the principle. I’ve done numerous purchases through them but never have I felt so cheated in my life. I’m planning on presenting my case to the attorney generals office and the BBB. In the future I’ll be using a different more reputable dealership for my vehicle needs. More

He worked with us over a month, and never lost patience with us. He searched the city and brought us cars from other dealerships to test drive. He allowed us to even take several cars home to make sure they would fit in our garage and that they would hold my equipment needed for my job. He wasn't just trying to sell us a car, he really cared that we found exactly what we were looking for. Zack works very long hours, and we witnessed that first hand. I was very impressed with his dedication. We appreciate all he did for us! More
Disconnect between salesperson and finance person I purchased a car in late March. I was told that my trade in would be paid in full by the salesman. BUT the finance person only financed that my 80% I purchased a car in late March. I was told that my trade in would be paid in full by the salesman. BUT the finance person only financed that my 80% of the payoff and let me holding an extra $5000.00 on my loan. I called and the finance person told me he didn't know what the salesman promised me but he went over the paper work with me. Honestly I don't remember him ever telling me that all of my trade in would not be paid off. I caught the discrepancy when MO dept of revenue pointed out the trade in amount on the title form. I purchased my last vehicle from the Independence location and they were wonderful and upfront about everything but the KC location I question whether or not they are a dealership of integrity. The service department is wonderful but as for sales I'll never purchase there again. More

They said that my car had an open recall on it... this is after I just bought the car from this dealership three months ago after it was supposedly inspected, serviced and certified. The car also has a power steering fluid leak that just started after being purchased three months ago. I asked the service manager if they could look for where the leak is coming from while they're under it. He said that they couldn't tell me where the leak was coming from unless I paid a 150$ diagnosis fee, but that since the car had just reached a certain mileage he thought I should replace the whole system for 1000 dollars. So, this is after I just bought the car that they say it needs this much work. But since I bought it "certified," as-is, that means that they won't help me with the repairs, much less take a minute to tell me which part is leaking, in hopes they can ream me by convincing me it's better to replace the whole system... (the high pressure hose, the return hose and the motor.) What a joke. Never buy a used car from a dealership and never go to the service department of a dealership... they're just cheating you. More
