Chevy Salesman - GMC Purchase My wife and I were initially looking at 2015 Tahoes and met Jacobe Woods at Cable Dahmer Chevy. Jacobe was very personable and very responsive. So, when we changed our minds and decided we liked the look of the 2015 Yukon better - we asked Jacobe if we could still buy through him. excellent I had the best experience with Darnell. The first day we came he tried to put us in a vehicle, but the financial department could not do to the bank. I had the best experience with Darnell. Started out well, but Rick Zapata was very nice. We didn't run into trouble until we (my mom & I) were in financing. Half way through the paperwork, I noticed $12,000 worth Rick Zapata was very nice. We didn't run into trouble until we (my mom & I) were in financing. Half way through the paperwork, I noticed $12,000 worth of options I had said "no" to were being included in the total. I originally had signed a paper to this end, but my name was spelled wrong on it, so it ended up being reprinted. Since I didn't get to sign the revised paper, the options got included. After 6+ hours at the dealership, my mom and I were just ready to be done. Maybe that was the plan? I ended up paying approximately 1/2 the options cost. Also, a scratch was to be fixed on the back of the vehicle. I was told to bring it by on "x" day. When I did so, I was told the service department was busy and I'd have to make an appointment for another day. Why couldn't I have made an appointment in the first place? Paint had to be ordered (no problem there), so the appointment was pushed out several weeks. The day I was told to come in (by Rick), Rick was on vacation. I had asked my husband to take the car because I was at work. The dealership originally told my husband he'd have to come in when Rick was back from vacation. My husband stayed put until Rick came in and had the service department take care of the scratch. This whole experience did nothing to dispel the myth that buying a car from a dealership is nothing but a headache. I will make sure this car lasts as long as possible so I don't have to go through this again! (Or send my husband from now on!) More
