When we walked into the dealership, we were greeted by a very friendly staff. One of the things we liked most was not being pressured into buying on this visit. Rae Knowlton sold us our car. We felt she went the extra mile for us in so many ways.(Like delivering it to us.) Al and I were extremely satisfied and will recommend Rae and Camelback Ford Lincoln Mercury to our friends and family. More
I am quite displeased with my Financing experience at Camelback. I was pre-approved thru my credit union and allowed the dealership to buy down the rate. 3 days before my payment was due I called the de Camelback. I was pre-approved thru my credit union and allowed the dealership to buy down the rate. 3 days before my payment was due I called the dealer and advised them that I have not received a statement, I was told they would look into in and call me back..."crickets" - never received the phone call. I re engaged 1 week after the payment due date, left a message with Finance and, again, no call back. I caught the name of the bank they were hoping to get me financed with in the first conversation and decided to go directly to the source... they indeed had me in their system but were waiting for the dealer to complete the transaction. This delay led to my temp tags expiring and lose of use of the vehicle for two days. I hesitantly called the dealer but this time I was routed to the GM and Office manager who noted everything wrong and were very prompt in taking care of the issues. I only wish that I called them earlier in the process. Despite my satisfaction with the sales team, my difficult, unresponsive experience with the finance team, I would NOT recommend this dealer to ANYONE! More
i thank Juan for getting the deal done with ease. he delivered everything he promised and made the deal haggling easy. I do have one complaint, after the deal was done my phone call and email did not g delivered everything he promised and made the deal haggling easy. I do have one complaint, after the deal was done my phone call and email did not get responded to. also he was suppose to set up the leather in my car. found out the day before the installation he never told Paul which color was to be used. now im not sure if it will be installed on Thursday.i know that is the hardest part is following up with deals that are closed, but that is what makes the 5 star experience. paul was great at getting the leather in one days notice and following thru with the loaner car juan had promised. also a huge THANK YOU to heather in titles. in one phone call she got my trade in taken care of. something that i had been asking other to get done and getting no where. thank YOU heather for taking on that responsibility and handling it with 5 star service. If you are looking to work with a stand-up salesman - Dave Haro is your guy. We had traditionally been a GM purchaser and Dave has convinced us to join the Ford family. I specified a particular car I wanted and e-mailed it to three Ford Dealers. The best price quote came back from Camelback Ford so I made an appointment, When i got to the dealership I was told that they three Ford Dealers. The best price quote came back from Camelback Ford so I made an appointment, When i got to the dealership I was told that they didn't have the car I wanted in stock but they had found one in Sacramento and I could sign a contract for that one. The price they came up with was $3,000 more than had been quoted. After a lot of negotiating, the price was brought down to a couple of hundred dollars more than the original quote. I agreed to that price on Saturday, October 16, 2010, signed a contract for the car, (a copy which I have in my possession) wrote a check which Camelback Ford cashed, and turned over my 2004 Mustang Convertible in trade. I was told the car would arrive from Sacramento in about 7 days. On Monday, October 18th I received an e-mail stating that I had to make another appointment to come to the Dealership. When I called to ask why I had to come in again, I was told that the car I had contracted for had been sold to someone else I had been given a contract that seems to me to be both illegal and unethical because Camelback Ford did not have possession of or a commitment for from the Sacramento Agency. When I arrived for my appointment on Tuesday, October 19th, I was told that they had found a car in South Carolina that matched my specifications. Although I had an appointment time, I had to wait two and a half hours to sign the documents that had had been predated back to October 16th for the car that had been found in South Carolina. When the car finally arrived from South Carolina and I came to take delivery, it did not have the comfort package I had specified. The invoice price for this package was $518. I thought that amount should have been refunded but all I was offered was free oil changes for a year. I have been buying cars for over 60 years and this is by far the worst experience I have had. I wouldn't recommend this Agency to anyone and would never go there for service, - I would look for another Ford Agency. I have submitted a similar survey to the Ford Headquarters in Michigan and received a letter of apology that indicated my complaint had been forwarded to the Regional Office. Richard Moyer More
We have lived in Phoenix for more than thirty years. I have ALWAYS been treated with courtesy and with respect. I have ALWAYS negotiated a good price for the vehicle I wanted. I have ALWAYS experienced excellent followup and service. This car salesmen completely lied about my deal. We agreed upon terms initially over email. When I signed our "deal" at his desk, I asked him again to restate the deals. He did so and I agreed to them agreed upon terms initially over email. When I signed our "deal" at his desk, I asked him again to restate the deals. He did so and I agreed to them as they matched the aforementioned terms. We then sat around for three hours while they did the paperwork only to get in the finance room and see that he COMPLETELY LIED about our deal. He then came in and claimed he never made such an agreement and that I was mistaken. It was insulting and a complete waste of my time. Avoid Juan Rodriguez like the plague. More
I went to Camelback Ford in late October 2010, shopping for a 2011 Ford Mustang. I had been to Earnhardt and Bell Ford shopping for the same car, and was just putting out my feelers. At first I was very for a 2011 Ford Mustang. I had been to Earnhardt and Bell Ford shopping for the same car, and was just putting out my feelers. At first I was very hesitant to go to Camelback Ford because it used to be Mel Clayton Ford, who I DESPISED (they were the epitome of slimy, dishonest car dealers). I am fairly difficult to work with because I have had many really rotten car buying experiences, and thus have developed thick skin. Well, I worked with Camelback to purchase a black on black Mustang, and I must say that I was extremely impressed with their professionalism, courtesy, and customer service. I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted, I got what I wanted for the trade in, and overall and for the first time EVER, had a great experience buying a new car. They played very few games with me (it's a dealership, so they have to play a few games right? They're in the game to earn money!), and were very up-front with invoice pricing, incentives, and the out the door price. In the end, if you want to buy a Ford, see Juan Rodriguez in Internet Sales. He is extremely helpful and very easy to work with. More
The condition in which they allow cars to be sold is DANGEROUS. I was lucky that I did not experience a blow out. After another dealership conducted a factory recall, it was noticed the steel belts on DANGEROUS. I was lucky that I did not experience a blow out. After another dealership conducted a factory recall, it was noticed the steel belts on 20% of the inner perimeter of the passanger tire was exposed. They are ONLY interested in the immediate sale - customer service, communication and apparently, customer safety means NOTHING!!! More
