They werent able to complete the services I scheduled even tho they had the car from 8:50am-5:45pm. I live 70 miles from the dealership. 140 miles round trip. And they didnt offer anything as compensatio even tho they had the car from 8:50am-5:45pm. I live 70 miles from the dealership. 140 miles round trip. And they didnt offer anything as compensation for not completing services they agreed to complete at drop off. They lied to me about why they couldn't complete them stating that they had to work on the warranty. But warranty and service are 2 separate departments and they could have detailed it while they were on the phone working on the other part. Only the oil change was done. I dont appreciate being lied to about why the detail wasnt done. More
DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY. I purchased a used vehicle from Camelback Volkswagen, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. From th DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY. I purchased a used vehicle from Camelback Volkswagen, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the very beginning, I made it clear that safety was my number one priority. Despite that, Steve Porter (Sales Manager) lied, downplayed, and embellished details about the vehicle’s prior service history, minimizing serious safety concerns. Within three weeks of ownership, the vehicle had to be brought into their service department for repairs. While the car was being worked on, I went to the Sales department to discuss my options. Paul Valentino told me that Steve Porter was the GM (which was false according to their own website) and claimed that they had gone through every possible issue and scenario in detail before the sale — another lie. When I calmly said I just wanted to be treated like a human being and explained that I’m not a “car guy,” Paul Valentino actually said to me, “Don’t play that xxxx with me.” Never in my life have I been treated so disrespectfully, especially after making one of the larger purchases most people make in their lifetime. If you care about your safety, your family, or being treated with basic honesty, please stay far away from Camelback Volkswagen. Everything bad you’ve ever heard about car dealerships — this place embodies it. They do not care about their customers, only about the sale. More
I have been reading the reviews and I wish I had before I bought my 2023 Taos there. I have had nothing but trouble with it and believe all the 1 star reviews for the service department. My car barely has 1 bought my 2023 Taos there. I have had nothing but trouble with it and believe all the 1 star reviews for the service department. My car barely has 10,000 miles on it, my infotainment system hasn’t worked for about a year. The first time I took it in to get repaired I was told it just needed a software update and when I drove away it stopped working and when I called I was made to feel like it was my problem. Took it in again about 3 weeks ago to get it repaired and regular oil change. My car got the green light everything was good (they needed to order a part for my radio)Two days later 3 lights went on, my stop/start, lane assist and remote start stopped working. Took it in today was called and told me they need to keep it overnight and have no loaners for me. Granted I can uber to work but they should pay for it. Please help yourself and go to any other VW dealership to purchase or service a car, this one cares nothing about their customers. More
Camelback Volkswagen sold me a car with a misfiring engine and a hood that flaps up on the freeway. My car failed the week after my first car payment. I brought it in for repair as directed by the sale engine and a hood that flaps up on the freeway. My car failed the week after my first car payment. I brought it in for repair as directed by the salesperson who sold me the car, Kevin. I paid $160 for a diagnostic and was sent to another dealership with my broken car because they couldn’t fix it. Now I’m looking at close to $1000 in repairs, an additional diagnostic fee and no promise that the problem won’t persist. I also think it is helpful to mention my car payment is DOUBLE what they promised when I signed the papers. Stay far away from this dealership and probably the others on camelback. Kevin was sure to mention the whole block is owned by the same person. Save yourself some money and a huge headache and thank me later. This dealership and the customer service is nothing but disappointing. More
One word…HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE SERVICE. This service department is the absolute worst. 2 times we’ve brought it in and 2 times we have had to bring it back for issues. HORRIBLE SERVICE. This service department is the absolute worst. 2 times we’ve brought it in and 2 times we have had to bring it back for issues. The first time they neglected to add blue and this time after flushing our coolant we got a low coolant warning while driving the next day. When I called in iI was told “maybe you should think about buying a new car.” Our Passat only has 130,000 miles. What the actual xxxx. Give me a new car maybe? Ridiculous More
