DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE! !! 1. Was told that the trade that we purchased from Camping World less than a year ago had water damage. During the entire time we owned the campe !! 1. Was told that the trade that we purchased from Camping World less than a year ago had water damage. During the entire time we owned the camper we never experienced any water inside the camper anywhere. I personally checked the conditions of all the sealed areas and there were no cracks , gaps or any signs of water retention anywhere. We were told that they wanted us to pay $4700 for the repairs needed before they would be able to sell it. Then they came back at $2500, the final amount that they came back with was $2000. I told them that I didn't feel that we needed to pay anything since it was sold to us by Camping World in that condition. We could not see any damage except for the piece of trim that they pulled loose. They told us that the speckles in the paneling was the indicator of the water damage, every square inch of paneling in the camper is speckled the same way, NOT WATER DAMAGE. We reluctantly agreed to split the $2000 and miraculously after we closed the deal the trade in was listed on the website the following Monday. NOTHING DONE TO IT!!!!! 2. We were supposed to get a new faucet in the bathroom sink because there was not one in the new camper. They installed a used kitchen pull out faucet which was wider than the sink. Absolutely ridiculous to think that is acceptable. 3. We requested that a 10" mattress be put in the camper in place of the new 8" and was told that that could be done. We even offered to pay the difference between the mattresses. Did not have a 10" Short Queen in stock. We asked if it could be ordered and shipped to our house, we even offered to pay for the shipping. We were told that it was not possible since the 8" mattress was already in the camper still in the plastic bag. 4. They pulled the outdoor griddle out of the cargo compartment and placed it in the grass away from the camper, I picked it up and put it back in the cargo compartment. More
Sales person Wayne and finance guy John both lied to us. Said that it would be no problem getting it licensed in Oregon, saving us over $1100 in sales tax. We were moving there after buying the RV. Not true Said that it would be no problem getting it licensed in Oregon, saving us over $1100 in sales tax. We were moving there after buying the RV. Not true at all. And the plates we got are only good until the end of January. Went through corporate and the BBB. Nothing was changed. What horrible people who will lie just to make a sale and get a commission. The finance guy was also very shady about a bunch of add-ons. He lies with great ease and skill. More
I would like to thank the service department for taking care of us when we had an emergency problem. We were traveling from Florida back to Ohio when one of our hydraulic jacks began leaking fluid. The ser care of us when we had an emergency problem. We were traveling from Florida back to Ohio when one of our hydraulic jacks began leaking fluid. The service department fixed us up by strapping it up in place so it wouldn’t drop down while we were driving home. We made it home safe and sound! Again, thank you to the whole service department that helped us when we needed it most!!! Sincerely, Debbie and Dan from Ohio More
Camping World Service is a waste of your money and time. Their Technicians are not trained, and the turnover is high. The charge for fake services they don't or can do properly, and do not care about cust Their Technicians are not trained, and the turnover is high. The charge for fake services they don't or can do properly, and do not care about customer service. Continue reading to hear my issues. Had a RV systems check done. Everything passed. However, after a few days at home, my Propane alarm went off. I replaces the sensor, since they checked for leaks already and it passed, and the sensor was about 6 or 7 years old. However that was not the problem. I purchase my own leak detector and found 3 propane valves leaking. There systems check, including a water column check of the propane found no leaks (and the water column check is supposed to be the most accurate). Must not be trained in the use of it, or just faked the check. After taking it back for the leak, they could only find 2 of the leaks (after I told them of the three leaks found and where). I havd to explain the 3rd leak location exactly, then they found it. This is RIDICULOUS. They were going to order parts, but after 133 days, and not hearing anything back from them, they lost track of the request for parts, then wanted me to pay over $1000 for them just to order them (for three valves). Again RIDICULOUS. Then they insisted I pay for work I already paid for, 4 months earlier. Again, RIDICULOUS. Then they said I need to order the parts. I spent and hour online and found all three, brand new. They said if I find the parts they would install them (for a cost) If that is the case I can go elsewhere. In any case I found all the parts within about an hour online (total, just over $200), not the over $1000 they claimed. Again, RIDICULOUS. And this is what they do for a business. Needless to say, I will have the parts installed elsewhere, with real technicians. I also paid to have a Sealtech leak service, they indicated they found the leak, patched it up (charged for the test and the repair. But the leak is still there. There is a year warranty on the work, but taking it in may be a waste of time. Ok keep in mind, the total time my RV was at Camping world was over a month (two trips, one for the initial service and Sealtech, and another trip to have them verify the leaks they missed, so they can order parts, they did not order, then say 4 months later I needed to pay $1000 in order to order parts, the could not find. RIDICULOUS. I contacted Sealtech to inquire if they are qualified to do the Sealtech work. They indicated that should be. But Sealtech just sells the product. I guess Camping World just fakes it and takes your money. So to summarize: 1. RV at Camping World for at least 3 weeks to do a System Check and the SealTech. Both of which they failed at doing correctly 2. Another week to have them verify what they missed with the Propane leak, which I had to find. Did they offer any credit for the inferior work they did and caused me to drive over an hour each was, twice for them to figure it out. "NO". 3. Not ordering the parts for 4 months, then telling me I had to pay over a $1000 for order the parts. 4. Claiming I had not paid a previous bill, and that is why they did not order the parts. Of which management had to figure out I already paid my previous bill. 5 They telling me I had to order the parts myself, they they would install (at there RIDICULOUS rates, with poor quality Technicians). 6. I ordered the 3 valves within about an hour for just over $200 with tax and shipping. I found another RV repair, explained this to them. They seem to have heard about some of these same issue with Camping World, and there lack of quality service. I imagine, that is why they keep busy. More

Service department is an absolute nightmare! They had our camper for over 2 months to complete a warranty repair and put on 4 new tires. The warranty repairs went ok, but they didn't order the They had our camper for over 2 months to complete a warranty repair and put on 4 new tires. The warranty repairs went ok, but they didn't order the tires when we told them to then they ordered the wrong tires and the price kept going up. After 3 weeks of this nonsense my husband went out there because they wouldn't return our calls in a timely manner and when they would they wouldn't leave a message with any kind of status. When my husband got there they had 2 tires put on but not all 4. In a previous conversation, we were told that the price would be no more than 750. When we asked this last time they said it would be between 500 and 1000. Not sure how you get that big of a swing when tires are already there and 1/2 way put on. Then when we finally spoke to someone they tried saying it was a supply chain issue. No, it's a lying and lazy issue on Camping World's part. I'll be so glad to just get the camper back and find somewhere else to service it going forward. More
