Everything seemed to be professional until days later we received a notice from Washington State DMV saying our new trailer cannot be registered until they received enough sales tax. We felt shocked because we agreed with the finance manager verbally on the out-door-price, and got a firm "NO" when asking if we need to pay more tax. We contacted the dealership immediately to sort things out. He either refused to answer our call or told us "sorry that is it" and that we had to pay extra money ourselves. They seemed not to care about credibility or reputation. Conclusion: Don't be fooled by their perceived sincerity. Be aware of any hidden fees or charges they would put on you. Carefully review any paperwork or calculate numbers before signing anything. More

Contemplating a travel trailer purchase we met Patrick Thompson, the salesman who provided us with service. He was knowledgeable and patiently showed us all. We easily ordered exactly what we wanted. Part of the deal was to arrange an "off the grid" solar installation. We were quickly introduced to Eric Astleford, in the service area, who listened to exactly what I needed. He explained how we would procure all the specific parts and materials that I wanted. As the first minor hiccup where there was a question of exactly how to proceed, the general manager, Peter Beston introduced himself and said he would make certain the entire process went smoothly, which he did. We installed a commercial grade solar power system. The technicians that did the parts of the installation were each experienced in their area of expertise. They thought of improvements in details and all looked for perfection in their work. The process, complex, took about 6 weeks by the time everything had been shipped and received. This was about what I thought it would take, and the total hours were in the exact range I expected as well. It works flawlessly. More
Don't expect a call back from anyone in service The worst customer service on the planet! I took my motorhome in to have routine maintenance done, and told Eric, the service writer he could have it The worst customer service on the planet! I took my motorhome in to have routine maintenance done, and told Eric, the service writer he could have it for two weeks, as we would not need it until then. We requested a 45 point inspection and some minor fix-its. I called Eric several times the second week he had it to see where we stood on getting it back in time. Eric never answers the phone at his extension, so we had to leave messages. Even after leaving five separate messages, we never got a call back. When we arrived to pick up our coach it had not even made it into the shop yet. Eric had no excuse as to why we weren't called, Did'nt know why the work was not done, and kind of just blew us off. Do Not Go To Camping World in Hillsboro unless you want crappy customer service from a service writer who does not care enough to let you know what is going on. Absolutely terrible experience. More
Horrible customer service and support I will never go to this location for service or parts again. I would rather drive miles to somewhere else. It took them 6 weeks to put new carpet in I will never go to this location for service or parts again. I would rather drive miles to somewhere else. It took them 6 weeks to put new carpet in our trailer because they kept doing other jobs mostly to service new rv's being sold. It was $2,000 to install the carpet plus $500 for the carpet. They never return phone calls and make excuse after excuse. They have no clue how to properly take care of a customer and act like they could care less. They also quoted me $250 for adding a gas line for our barbecue which we approved and they did not even do that work even though I reminded Eric of it several times. A manager said they would review my complaint and call me back. Of course they never called back. This place over commits and under delivers. It was very frustrating!! More
As a novice RV owner and senior citizen, one has to trust the "professionals". Camping World of Hillsboro, (aka Olinger Travel) replaced what they claimed was a totally broken Coleman A/C unit with a no-nam the "professionals". Camping World of Hillsboro, (aka Olinger Travel) replaced what they claimed was a totally broken Coleman A/C unit with a no-name, no serial number, no warranty, noisy, not comparable, perhaps even used unit. The invoice showed no detail whatsoever on hours charged for labor nor information on the parts used. They did not return the broken unit and then claimed that it had been scrapped. I had no choice but to sign their form saying that the work was satisfactory otherwise I would not be able to get the RV back. Probably the most shady, dishonest experience I've ever encountered.
