Rick at Rockingham Toyota - the BEST salesman I've ever met! I was referred to Rockingham Toyota by a co-worker and I was extremely hesitant to go to a Big Name Dealership because of my situation. Although I ha I was referred to Rockingham Toyota by a co-worker and I was extremely hesitant to go to a Big Name Dealership because of my situation. Although I have been employed with the same company for 8 years (so job stability is no issue) I have poor credit (which I have been trying so hard to improve) and I had no money to put down. I thought for sure any sales rep at a Big Name Dealership would laugh at me for thinking I could get financed. I had initially set my sights on a 2011 Dodge Caliber that I had seen on the Rockingham Toyota website. So when I arrived at the dealership on Friday I was greeted by Rick Titus, a Salesman for Rockingham Toyota. I knew after about 2 minutes that Rick wasn't the type of salesman that every consumer fears. He was funny, down-to-earth, and did not have the 'used car salesman, I'm about to hustle you' approach. After working with Rick, and test driving the Dodge Caliber I knew I wanted it. Rick and I went through what I could afford for payments, went through the privacy stuff, soft credit pull, etc. and I felt pretty good, like I might actually have a chance at getting approved. Rick made me feel like my situation wasn't as bad as I thought, and encouraged me to stay positive and that he would do everything he could to get me into a car. I left the dealership waiting for the news about which bank, if any, would consider giving me a loan. Longest couple days of my life! Monday morning came and I was completely doubting the whole thing, and sure that if I hadn't heard anything yet that I was doomed! Rick and I exchanged communications throughout the day and he kept me up to speed on what he was doing to make this happen. Turns out no banks would consider a loan for me, except Toyota themselves. Good news....kinda... Being that Toyota would give me a loan, I had to buy a Toyota so I couldn't get the Dodge that I wanted. All hope wasn't lost though. I asked Rick to see what he had for me that was used, automatic transmission, and not a Corolla. So for the next couple hours Rick went back and forth with Toyota seeing which used Toyota car they'd finance... without any luck. Toyota then said, if we're going to give her a loan it has to be a new Toyota. Yikes! So Rick called me and let me know and asked if I could come down to the dealership. I was on my way, excited about the opportunity to get a BRAND NEW CAR but hesitant because lord knows how much it was going to cost me (by the way, I had told Rick no more than $450 a month!). I get there, Rick is as pleasant as ever, and we go through the deal. This should tell you how great of a guy, and salesman Rick is, he literally was so disappointed with the mount my payments came out to be that he didn't want to show me the amount! I even think he might have been more devastated by it then me. He showed me, and it was higher than I wanted by about $60 a month. OUCH! But after hearing how hard he worked ALL DAY on my sale, and the fact that I was getting a BRAND NEW Camry (like so new the hub caps and floor mats were still in the packaging in the trunk) I really couldn't be that mad about the price difference. Amazingly enough, my interest rate was like 13%, which is less than 1/2 the previous rate on my existing car (which by the way I owed $5300+ for, and Rockingham Toyota gave me $2000 as a trade and added the payoff balance to my loan...win, win!). By the time it was all said and done I got a brand new, fully warrantied, fully covered 2014 Camry with factory remote starter installed, as well as some other awesome features! My interest rate went down again (current rate 29.9%, first quoted rate through Toyota was 12.9%, rate on the loan paperwork 6.59%!!!!). And did I mention I got a BRAND NEW CAR!!!! My first one ever! To make it even better, I could pick It up the very next day! I was more than happy with my experience, and not only would I refer people to Rockingham Toyota but I would tell them specifically to see Rick! Rick is the kind of salesman that truly wants to help, wants people to get what they need and deserve, and will work extremely hard and do everything he can to make it happen! He cared about his customer, not about making a sale! More

Rob Marcoux, who is very knowledgeable and courteous, assured me that I am getting a good value for the price I am paying. Jonathan Pavnick made the financial application process very smooth and pleasant. All in all I did receive a great quality in services that I know every customer will appreciate. More

Rick is a Rockstar!! I'm not sure how most people feel about buying a car but I for one hate it. The thought of sitting there for hours as the office people go back and fo I'm not sure how most people feel about buying a car but I for one hate it. The thought of sitting there for hours as the office people go back and forth making you feel like you are getting blood from a stone is one of the most insufferable experiences one should ever have to endure. Thankfully, Rick T. made the process of test driving and purchasing my new Subaru nothing like anything I have ever experienced before. It was quick and easy. I just had to decide what I wanted. Believe me when I tell you I walked in there ready to hold my ground and get what I wanted no matter what, I did. I was determined to be in and out of there with in an hour, and I was. It was really that simple. Rick made sure I got to try any and every car that I thought I might be even remotely interested in, and there were a few. He never seemed annoyed or rushed. It was one of the most relaxing experiences that I have ever had buying a car. He even made me feel ok about being emotional about letting my old car go. After all 10 years with a car is a long time. Many memorable moments were had in that car. Not the least of which was bringing my son home when he was born, going on several road trips and hours and hours of conversations with those I love. As I sat with Rick going over my options it wasn't some stuffy, hum drum, droning conversation about the bells and whistles of the most expensive cars on the lot. He listened to my concerns and needs and made sure that I got the right car. There was laughter and such a sense of ease in this process. I have to say that the paperwork part left a little to be desired. I am a type A personality that likes to feel like all the T's are crossed and the I's are dotted. But this review is about the sales person and he was great. I know that saying he as a nice guy is not enough but he really was "nice". He knew how to answer my questions the way that I wanted them answered, honestly and quickly. He made sure that my needs were attended to and done so expeditiously. I'm probably sounding very high maintenance but when you are committing to something for the next 10 years you want to make sure you are getting something that is worth it. Rick made sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase before I committed. Thanks Rick for being good at what you do! I know I appreciated it! More

We were greeted by Jennifer Lilly. We explained to her we were interested in the RAV 4 and proceeded to take a test drive, at which time she explained in great detail all about the vehicle. This vehicle was the right fit for us. Being new to leasing, Jennifer eased all our concerns. She made the whole process seem effortless. Due to it being close to closing time and the fact that we were starving, we came back the following day to finish the paperwork. Come to find out the service department was not open and Jenn came in on what was supposed to be her day off and actually detailed the vehicle herself so it would be ready for us. Before we left she went over every feature of the vehicle. If you would like a truly pleasurable experience I highly recommend you find Jennifer Lilly.
