2011 Scion tC Since I got my license I have wanted a scion tC. I just recently started looking everywhere for one. I was told to go look at Rockingham Toyota. Our second purchase from Rockingham Toyota We were looking for a Toyota Rav 4 and were just beginning to shop around. We learned about the negotiation free sales approach of OTHER dealers and We were looking for a Toyota Rav 4 and were just beginning to shop around. We learned about the negotiation free sales approach of OTHER dealers and used the internet to begin our search for the vehicle we wanted. We purchased a new Matrix in 2007 from Rockingham Toyota and had a good experience, so we wanted to see what they had to offer us. One Sunday morning, we decided to log onto Rockingham Toyota and entered some information. We got a phone call shortly after that from Rick Titus. We went to Rockingham Toyota shortly after the phone call and saw a Rav 4 sitting on the lot with a dealer plate on it. Rick had heard what we wanted and had a vehicle ready for us to look at before we had even arrived. After looking at the Rav 4, we went for a test drive and absolutely loved the vehicle. Rick was extremely knowledgeable and clearly knew how to make us comfortable while talking about the dealer, the vehicle and listening to what we wanted and how much we wanted to pay. Rick very confidently said "I can beat that price for you". After the test drive, we went into the showroom and began the process of determining the price. In the past when we have purchased vehicles, this has always been the most difficult and stressful part of the car buying process. We were very happy to see that the "old days of haggling over the price" are gone and Rick was able to offer the Rav 4 to us at a better price then we expected. The decision was made....we would purchase our new vehicle at Rockingham Toyota. We did not feel the need to shop around and were very excited about our anticipated purchase. Rick found the color we wanted and brought it back to Rockingham for us as expected. One week later, we took delivery on our new vehicle. The experience while taking delivery was amazing! All of the Rockingham Toyota team members went out of their way to say hello and congratulations! We are looking forward to a long relationship with Rockingham Toyota and will definitely be back for our next vehicle. I am a single professional so I was not only shopping for a new car, I was searching for a support system to which I could go for maintenance, care, tips and an overall long term service relationship. I live in an Newburyport MA, work in Andover MA, so all the huge dealerships were within a reasonable radius. I emailed them all for price shopping and all were anxiously wooing me into their dealership. I had decided on a Prius C IV with all the bells and whistles, which I knew would not be available at all dealers since it is an entry level Prius that many buy for the low price. I decided to first stop at Rockingham as this was a good half way point between home and work. I had an appointment with Trevor Fanning after work. The minute I walked in I liked the vibe of the place: small town, relaxed, no slick salesmen pitching to me, no obsequious fawning that I despise. Trevor was charming, friendly, not over the top. He was informative and we had a great little test drive. The general manager, Robert Marcoux, was there also to offer the price and some quick humor. I was sitting there deciding, should I go to all the big dealerships or just stick with this small easy-going place? I pretended a bit that I was still going to shop but I had already decided that Rockingham was the perfect place to buy a car. The price Mr. Marcoux offered was below invoice, I wasn't going to get better than that. When my car came in, Trevor showed me everything there was to see and know, following up with emails and phone calls. I got 0% financing in no time with Johnathan, who was efficient, not wasting any of my time. Trevor introduced me to the service department, and they were all huddled together; very friendly, looked like they were about to take a selfie. Trevor then brought me to parts to get my card for discounted accessories. The cherry on the top was the Assistant Manager, Chris Kordas, who threw in a remote key to sweeten the deal. Could it get any better than this? I dropped off my car on my way to work this week and Jay Enright brought me to work, came and picked me up when my car was ready. The sweetest guy, and so knowledgable about all the safety features in Toyota, I learned even more than I had thought to ask. I bought the pre-paid service plan and look forward to many years of service with this great place. They were all perfect: fun, easy, knowledgable, friendly and incredibly willing to make the whole experience effortless. Who knew buying a car could be so easy? More
