3 visits to fix my Wrangler Recall! 1st visit they fixed recalls but broke passenger side door power lock switch. Didn't bother to tell me about it. I found it when I closed passenger door the next day and it fell out. I called same day and they couldn't get me in for 2 weeks. I explained the tabs holding lock switch in door are broke. The lock switch will have to be replaced. Two weeks later I have 0830 appointment. I arrived early and get Jeep checked in. This is a 5 minute part install so I wait for it. 2 hours later they "don't have part and have to order it". They will call when it comes in. Ten days later they call. I set appointment again for 8 am. I drop Jeep off at 330 pm the day before. Figuring if they have time they may get it done early. I call at 2 pm on the day of the appointment because I haven't heard anything all day long. They call me back and said it will be a few hours. I tell them I will be there in 45 minutes. They call me as I'm pulling into parking lot and said its completed. So far so good. It hasn't fallen out in the past 48 hours. Two extra trips and 4 hours of my time for a $22 switch. Things break when working on cars, I get it. But don't try and hide it and then do a really crappy job of fixing your mess up. I was very excited to have a Jeep dealer in Cape Coral. I have owned 6 Wranglers over the years. I live 10 minutes from Cape Coral Jeep. But I will never use them for service or purchase anything from them again. More
I had a great experience today at Chrysler Dodge Jeep Cape Coral! Rhonda was friendly and helpful explaining my service options. The cafe enabled me great workspace to pass the time. Terrible service Worst dealership service ever. I took my 2018 jeep in due to AC only working once in a while. They said it was low on freon and that they had rechar Worst dealership service ever. I took my 2018 jeep in due to AC only working once in a while. They said it was low on freon and that they had recharged it. Next day it didn't work again. Made an appointment to take it back. When I got there a I was given a loaner vehicle for up to 5 days.. I thought that was odd for just getting AC fixed. Dealership called 4 days later to tell me there is nothing wrong with it and Chrysler says that's normal to blow warm air sometimes...dah! What a crock...like I was that stupid and didn't know what I was talking about and would believe that line. They gave me a letter from Chrysler stating they should tell the customer this and NOT to change any components ... Really! On my hour and a half ride home it quit working again. I called and they said to return it to them now. When I got there it was still blowing warm air. They agreed and said they would order a new compressor, bring it back on Tuesday, no appointment needed they would get it in and should take about 4 hours. I took it in at 9 am on Tuesday. They said they would give me a loaner while they installed the compressor. The loaner people said that it has a half tank of gas that should last while running around town killing time. The service contact told me if I hadn't heard anything in 3 hours to call him. I called him at noon and he said I will check on it and call you back in 5 minutes...I never heard from him. So I called again at 2 pm and he informed me that they had just started on it . Said he would call me Wednesday morning as soon as it was done. Wednesday morning he never called so I called him and just got his voice mail. I waited an hour and called and told the receptionist that I was wondering if my jeep was done. She checked and said it was. I picked it up and on the way home I got a call and was told they were charging me for the gas in the loaner vehicle. Chrysler was charged for a lot of wasted time and loaner vehicle rental for their incompetence. I made (6) 3 hour round trips each to the dealership . Now I hope the AC works! More
surprised to find new vehicle has no spare or jack/consider extremely pleasant dealership,very professional staff. When I questioned about the equipment did not like the response ( given him enough were done with this) from inside by way of the attendant. requested equipment be swapped over from trade in and was denied, not happy. also had a trailer tow package I lost in the deal. Good Deal I came in a a Wrangler recall notice and added an oil change, brake flush, and zipper lube. Tires were also rotated at no charge. Total was $250.00. not able to cut a key I returned to have a key fob cut/programmed for my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. The tech was able to program the key, return the key to me and when I we I returned to have a key fob cut/programmed for my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. The tech was able to program the key, return the key to me and when I went to test it out, I discovered that the blade part of the key was uncut. After talking with the service writer it was determined that they could not do the work, it would have to be ordered since it is "VIN specific". So, another trip will be necessary to have this done.
