repair costs, replacement fluids, and misc. charges too high The recall and oil leak were both repaired properly. The quote for the oil leak repair seemed excessive. We were going to take the vehicle somewhere e The recall and oil leak were both repaired properly. The quote for the oil leak repair seemed excessive. We were going to take the vehicle somewhere else at a lower repair price, but the service advisor at Cape Coral CDJR negotiated a lower price to "earn our business" During the repair they had to empty our antifreeze. They called to make sure it was OK to fill antifreeze. When we got our bill, I was shocked to see a charge for $43.12 for antifreeze/coolant. The charge was much higher than we would have paid if we had purchased it ourselves elsewhere. I also questioned a misc. charge of $59.60. I was told that was for shop supplies such as rags, gloves, clean up, etc. and use of car wash if needed. They did not wash our car. The price of $125.00 per hour for repair service should include shop supplies. If they plan to "earn our business" they are going to have to lower prices to be competitive with other repair shops.. Express service Everyone was friendly and helpful, the service people were seemingly efficient. We were impressed by all the people with whom we dealt.
