I usually never take the time to write a reveiw, but I have to this time. Because what happened was so egregious, it has to be said. I took my car in for only a NTSB Safety recall regarding leaking brak have to this time. Because what happened was so egregious, it has to be said. I took my car in for only a NTSB Safety recall regarding leaking brake lines inspection for leaks. I was dealing with Valerie and I received a phone call from Valerie in the service Bay Area to say my car was ready to be picked up. While on the phone Valerie in (“IN HER OWN WORDS”) the service tech noticed something, and “you need” a 30K mile transmission service.” I pressed Valerie on what the service technician saw. After hesitating she finally said (“ IN HER OWN WORDS AGAIN”) well, “he really didn’t see anything”, we are just asking our customers if they would like the service. I said, “oh” you are just trying to upsell services that may or may not be needed. She said “yes”. When I picked up my care, I spoke with Valerie and told her when I deal with someone, I don’t like being “LIED TO” regarding services that I may need or may not need. Then, SHE DID IT AGAIN! She tried to convince me that, that is not what she said! THEN SHE LIED AGAIN TO MY FACE! I told her it is things like this that when Cloninger owned the business things happened that convinced me years ago these people cannot follow directions; therefore, they lost my service business, and then I told her under Capital ownership they will “NEVER GET MY BUSINESS EITHER.” I really don’t understand why there are some people who honestly think it is okay to “lye.” STUNNING!!!! Now, I am questioning if I can trust this safety inspection? REALLY! . More
