The salesman was good at the time of the sale, so I thought. Finance Dept was horrible. 2 days after I bought the vehicle I opened the cargo area and saw the service department had not cleaned it. Some thought. Finance Dept was horrible. 2 days after I bought the vehicle I opened the cargo area and saw the service department had not cleaned it. Something sticky was spilt and what looked like vomit was on the rug. I noticed the carpet and the back of the 3rd row was ruined. Something had torn the carpet. This damage was not disclosed nor seen prior to purchasing. The floor maps covered the damage and the seats were upright and not noticeable at first glance. Capital is sending a check to have the vehicle cleaned but refuse to fix the damage they failed to disclose. Their solution was to buy me cargo mats. Service not resolved. This SUV was bought NEW with 3400 miles. They said it was used as a Demo but still in NEW condition. They priced matched a competitor only after I had left and was 15 minutes away. Now they are saying, “The resolution is to send either a carpet mat or rubber mat. Although new, it was a service loaner and we priced the loaner accordingly. The big discount is because a loaner may have exterior scratches, interior scratches, blemishes, Etc. to replace carpeting would not be feasible. But agin, we will be more than happy to send a mat.” When I mentioned the mileage, I was told it was still a new SUV. They were not willing move on pricing at first after I showed them a quote from the competitor and the manager even stated if I can get a deal like that to give him the name of the salesperson because his wife was looking for a vehicle. So, no the vehicle was not priced as a loaner. Price to match and the other vehicle had more option just not the color I wanted. More
