Everyone who helped us at the CarMax in Amarillo were amazing and very helpful. They addressed all of our concerns and needs. The only issue we had was with the shipping of our vehicle. Our local Carmax has been great at helping me try out different cars and never batted an eye when I bring something in from another lot and end up not liking it. I finally did choose a car, and the purchase process was super relaxed and easy. My biggest complaint has been trying to deal with a small issue after purchase. I am hopeful we will get it all fixed up next week and it won't be something bigger than a cabin filter, however having to wait weeks for an appointment and just tell them I'll do it myself to get squeezed in for a filter change that takes mere minutes is frustrating especially since it pushed me out of the ten day return window so now if it's something bigger I do not have that option left. More

Bought a car at the end of February, right before the 30 day warranty expired had to replace the battery because the car completely died. Then 2-3 weeks after that the car just starts to die while driving d day warranty expired had to replace the battery because the car completely died. Then 2-3 weeks after that the car just starts to die while driving down the highway. It stalls out when it’s warm outside, not throwing any codes and it has pending codes but they keep disappearing. All carmax says is ‘well you got maxcare so you have to use that.’ Less than 4 months owning this car and it’s not drivable but I have to pay the deductible with maxcare to get it fixed. Plus time without a car or spending money on a rental. Oh and the car has less than 50k miles on it. More
