Car was still broken. Held hostage for a week fixing the broken part after already paying to ship the car here. How in the world do you miss these? I did not mention the seat because the guy that fixed the locks clearly used a metal screw driver on the door trim and xxxxed it up in 4 places. Jeeeez carmax. After test driving a few cars, I knew which one I wanted. I had tried a few dealerships, and those experiences were awful. Carmax was great from the start. From finding the car that met my specifications, to I had tried a few dealerships, and those experiences were awful. Carmax was great from the start. From finding the car that met my specifications, to getting it shipped to my local dealership, being able to review leasing information and total costs before going in for my test drive. Every aspect from calling the help line to going in person was such a smooth experience. My attendant, Max Brown was great (I got to joke that THE Max from Carmax sold me my car), walked me through everything from start to finish (even though I'd had the opportunity to review everything beforehand). Nothing was a surprise in the way of fees or processes, but what was a surprise is just how great everything else was. Max put a bow on the car and let me take a picture with him. The financing team noticed the check mark I had written on the title paperwork was a bit off and had me redo that page--I really appreciated their attentiveness! It was my first time buying a car, and was a wonderful experience. More
