After test driving a few cars, I knew which one I wanted. I had tried a few dealerships, and those experiences were awful. Carmax was great from the start. From finding the car that met my specifications, to I had tried a few dealerships, and those experiences were awful. Carmax was great from the start. From finding the car that met my specifications, to getting it shipped to my local dealership, being able to review leasing information and total costs before going in for my test drive. Every aspect from calling the help line to going in person was such a smooth experience. My attendant, Max Brown was great (I got to joke that THE Max from Carmax sold me my car), walked me through everything from start to finish (even though I'd had the opportunity to review everything beforehand). Nothing was a surprise in the way of fees or processes, but what was a surprise is just how great everything else was. Max put a bow on the car and let me take a picture with him. The financing team noticed the check mark I had written on the title paperwork was a bit off and had me redo that page--I really appreciated their attentiveness! It was my first time buying a car, and was a wonderful experience. More

I was skeptical about being approved for a car online, so I went to CarMax to ask about it. Reginald just happened to be at the customer service desk when I walked in, so I asked him to just save us both tim I went to CarMax to ask about it. He set up one of the vehicles I was approved for to be there for me the next day to check out. The one I wanted was "reserved" at another location, but to be sure the deal was legitimate, I drove the first car anyway. Then I learned the car I wanted was not sold, and I asked for it to be brought to the lot for me. The next day, I went to see it and then I bought it. Reginald was probably the best car salesman I've ever dealt with, and I'm 61 years old. I've bought a few cars in my time. No xx, just the facts. And there were a few moments when I thought the deal would fall through - and he said so too, but he still kept looking at options until he found the one that got me in my car. So I recommend CarMax and I recommend Reginald at the Cy-Fair location if you're looking for a car. More
