I ordered the vehicle from a dealership on the east coast. Carmax provided excellent communication regarding when the vehicle was in transit and expected to arrive at my local dealership. In addition, coast. Carmax provided excellent communication regarding when the vehicle was in transit and expected to arrive at my local dealership. In addition, the salesperson at the local location contacted me right away to establish a relationship and kept me in the loop as to the arrival of the car. Shipping took much less time than originally estimated and the vehicle arrived without incident. The car was exactly as advertised. Salesperson was very courteous at the time of my visit and I was taken care of in a timely fashion. I had gotten an estimate for my trade in through the web site and they honored that figure when I brought the car for trade in. The process was seamless end to end. Second time I have purchased a vehicle from this location (as well as selling one outright) and have not had issues with any transaction. More

There were a few things wrong with the car, but I was reassured that they were an easy fix. After we left, I noticed there were two tiny chips in the windshield, which the salesman said we could get easily repaired. Also, the rearview mirror was loose. I made an appointment with the service department, for a brand new (to us) car, and had to wait a week to get an appointment. When the appointment came, there were some problems with my schedule, so I called to say we’d be late. No one answers the phone there. There are plenty of voicemails saying that my call was important to them, but no one answered the phone and when I left a message, no one returned my call. I’m not sure what the plan is now. It looks like I may have to take it to the dealer and get the mirror fixed under warranty and then pay for the window myself. I’m also going to have the car detailed inside because it smells like smoke. A lot of this is on me. I didn’t think it was such a big deal, but I also thought it would be easy to fix which it has not been. More
