Fast, easy experience, but missing OEM key fob delayed full truck functionality unnecessarily. CarMax sent out a locksmith but I still end up buying an 2nd fob, they're still trying to cut the emergency k full truck functionality unnecessarily. My car arrived sooner than Carmax'es own estimate. Then after paying $500 to have the car shipped you said I had to come that weekend to get the car or it would be sold to someone else. (even though it wasn't even supposed to have arrived yet!) Then we took the car home without the front license plate bracket which had not been installed and was not available and had to be ordered and then I had to come back the following week (another drive for me of a half hour each way and waiting for something that was supposed to be done as you rushed me up there!!) to get the license plate installed. I think you should refund my shipping fee. We are repeat customers. This is at least the 4th car we have bought from carmax kenosha and this is the first time I have been disappointed. The salesperson who ultimately worked through the paperwork with us was fine. It was just the rush rush to get up there and buy the car. It felt like they knew it was a great car I had shipped and wanted to sell it out from under me. Even though again I had scheduled to come and purchase the car the following weekend based on their own time estimate of when the car would be ready. And as I said the car wasn't ready and they then expected me to come back on my time and my gas for their mistake. The whole thing was very poor customer service. More
