Not so much a recommendation, as I would say I don't generally go about doing corporations marketing for them. Talked to too many different people, the car was not ready when we arrived to test drive in spite of several communications about it in advance, and very specific arrival timing, etc. The speed of the transaction was indeed fast, but that was not necessarily a good thing, as it was more nerve-wracking than assuring. Great experience! I'm not sure I can ever go back to a traditional dealership again. The whole process was fast, efficient and pleasant. No waiting around with a sales person going back and forth negotiating and hard selling. Price was good and the whole process took less than 30mins start to finish. My last car purchase was 7 hours at a dealership for an all cash purchase. Never again. Thank you CarMax you've got a great system. More

My experience at the dealership was great. I paid for two cars to be shipped to this store. Sales Experience was fine, except that we found a broken part on the truck & the salesperson said he'd notify the service dept. to call us to schedule the repair. Service did not call, when I finally got th part on the truck & the salesperson said he'd notify the service dept. to call us to schedule the repair. My friend recommended CarMax, and I am so glad that she did. There was no negotiating; everything was explained in detail, eliminating any surprise fees.
