This is the last time i will purchase at carmax. Worse car buying experience ever. Promised to deliver. Did not. When I went to pick up car, the actual mileage was 5K miles over what was advertised. The salesman (who was great btw) called a buyer and put me on the phone. The buyer was snarky and rude. He refused to reduce the price or give any accommodation for the 5K differential in mileage. I thanked the salesman and walked away from the deal. I wound up buying the same car from another dealer I found on Cars.com. I will never do a deal with CarMax again. I would give zero stars, but I'm afraid that will count as not rating. So they get one star for breathing. More

I was sold a lemon! On 5/28/17. I purchased a 2014 Nissan Sentra from CarMax with 35.496 miles with an extended warranty. As of 7/26/19 my car now needs a new transmissio On 5/28/17. CarMax will not honor the extended warranty that I paid $1,229 for at purchase. I'm a senior and feel as if I was taken advantage of. I trusted CarMax to sell me a reliable car not to sell me a vehicle that requires a new transmission in less than 100,000 miles. More
