Third vehicle that we have bought from this CarMax store. We still completed the purchase of the Expedition but passed on the F250 we had shipped. We were reimbursed for the cost of shipping on both vehicles. That’s the bad, the good, lots of vehicles on the lot to browses through to make a good choice that fit us. Price being posted and straightforward with the out the door cost. 2 out of 3 vehicles we were from yes to driving away in less than 2 hours, not sure what happened with the truck. We are completely stocking vehicles now but would recommend to anyone looking for a vehicle, just don’t ship it. More

The entire process was awful. Paid for shipping my vehicle. They changed the timeline three times with no updates on their end. I had to continue calling for updates. You rarely get a local person they have a call center that is super hard to get to a decent person. After finally getting the vehicle they agreed to refund my shipping and told me may 7 I would get it refunded to my card. I never got it. I followed up again and was told a check was physically mailed on May 19. It took until June 5 for me to spend over two hours on the phone with their corporate office before I finally got a case number and was processed my return nearly a month later. They wouldn’t give me a supervisors name or extension. They wouldn’t agree to take my information and have a supervisor call back. I do not recommend them unless you want to fight and beg for your money back that they promised you. More

First time buying a car online and it was a wonderful experience! Had it shipped from NC to VA, was pre approved online for the loan, and was in and out of the store in less than 3 hours. The CarMax associate was very knowledgeable and even discussed the pros and cons of a car my son was thinking about.
