I had never been to CarMax. I very pleasantly surprised!! I found the car I was looking for on their website in Pleasant Hill, shipped it for free to Roseville for a no obligati I very pleasantly surprised!! I was able to get a very fair quote for my trade in and got pre-qualified for financing through CarMax even before I stepped into the Dealership. I was notified Once the car arrived and I scheduled the test drive. The day of my appointment, we showed up a few minutes early and were introduced to our CarMax rep, who was fabulous! He got the car for a test drive and when made aware of a chip on the windshield (probably happened in transport), he immediately took the car back to have the chip and another chip repaired. The whole process was smoother than expected! I would definitely use CarMax again for a no stress, no hassle, quick car buying experience. More

First we made the mistake of not making an appointment, but we were directed out to where what we were looking for. So this gave us time to look over the models we were looking for at our leisure. Once we had settled on a model, of course my wife picked one she liked and I picked another, so since it was to be her car I went with what she picked. We went inside after we had decided and David helped us. We took the car for a test drive and we were sold. The only thing was when we got it home we noticed it was leaking oil by the spot on the garage floor. The only bad thing was it took 3 days to get a reply from the service rep to get it in to have it looked at. It turned out to be a the seal on the drain plug which was replaced by the service department and all is well. We love the car! More

Financing was after any higher percentage could find and even finalized my loan on a higher interest then what was initially told/shown to me. I had to go back in and sell them the truck and buy it again wi even finalized my loan on a higher interest then what was initially told/shown to me. I had to go back in and sell them the truck and buy it again with the correct rate, took hours. The truck has several scratches not shown on the report and I waited a week for it to be shipped so had no choice but to purchase as I sold my vehicle day before. The truck itself had several mechanical issues unfound or overlooked including yellow duct tape on the exhaust, still there to date. Alignment and tire balance both horrible, I paid America's Tire to fix. I've called and got the run around, management just sends you to another manager. I've chose to just slowly do each repair myself or pay for it to be done. Learn my mistake.. Overall very unsatisfied and feel I got scammed and bought an overpriced truck with there extended warranty(3500$ on top of trucks price) which judging from what I've found on the truck I would not trust them to do repairs at all. Lesson learned either by private or at a real dealership certified pre-owned. -Jason More
